Understand that when Carnival overnights ( 2 nights) in Bermuda guest come and go as they please.  But what happens onboard?  Are the shows & comedy still happening?  Are all the bars with bands/music still open?  Ho about the MDR for diner is it still your time dining or do they just have anytime dining in just one of the MDR?

Yes

If you booked it as your time dining, then you have anytime dining . if you booked a cruise with a set dining time like early/late then that is your dinning for the rest of the cruise

>do they just have anytime dining in just one of the MDR?

yes. on the magic the forward dining room is the your time dinning room. the aft dinning room is the for the set dining

I’ll have a live Magic overnight Bermuda thread on this board. The thread will be posted Saturday but the cruise part of it will actually start two weeks from tomorrow.

Are there casinos in Bermuda?

According to a quick Google search, there are four casinos in Bermuda. Hamilton Princess and Beach Club casino is the largest.

Just going off of a search, we haven't been to them.

Yes.  That's why the ship casino closes during the day.

Believe me, there are NO casinos in Bermuda.  There never have been and there never will be.  Pay no attention to what the ads say.  I have been to Bermuda many times in the last 30 years.  NO CASINOS!

I am doing a 2 night overnight in Bermuda in October and was thinking about booking a room for one night at the st Regis to use their facilities for the 2 days we are there. Does anyone know if carnival has an issue for leaving the ship and not coming back for over 24 hours?

also- would anyone recommend this or another plan to get some beach and pool time off the ship?

I wonder if anyone told St Regis?

The Casino at The St. Regis Bermuda Resort

The very first casino for the St. Regis brand and in Bermuda making it a great attraction for our guests.

LOL.  The proposal in 2017 for a casino never happened.  Friends just got back.  Still no casinos anywhere on the island.

Hamilton Princess has announced intention to apply for a license.
