Same! They run and play hard at day care! I’m sure Merlin will be happy to see you!💕 hope your cruise(s) we’re great!

Need a vacation.

  9 ports in 11 days....busy.

Cruise at 50% capacity was fantastic.

they have pools, and a great open area to run in….as you can see she’s having a horrible time and misses me immensely 😂

Love this. Thanks for your input. Lizzy (Black and White) is also a handful.

breakfast at Wipe Out is always a good choice. Peaceful and great views.

i usually avoid the windjammer on oasis class ships. Many other options that don’t involve weaving through the maze of people with no sense of direction, while juggling plates and beverages.

todays plan is the beach pool, which is already hopping….

I've chosen my spot with accessible beverages in mind

Showed up at 12:25 (assigned boarding was from 12:30-1 pm) checked in and on the ship by 12:40. Checked in at muster.  Booked a three night dining package. Signing up for shows was relatively painless via the app, 8 out of 10 comedy shows were already booked by 1 pm. Recommend getting an early boarding time!

cheers to biodegradable straws that don’t disintegrate!

Glad to see you are getting on the ship quickly still. I figured it might be a longer wait time since ships are sailing at higher capacities than last year. I’ve seen some vloggers recently that were showing people sitting around in the terminals and hoping that is not the case at POM.

Random thoughts and info…..

- there are around 5900 pax on board. As of 3:30 pm yesterday, 500 still hadn’t done the muster check in. This new process is SOOOO much less painless than in the past. Maybe when people are boarding they should immediately direct them to their station to check in. Just saying 🤷🏼‍♀️

It’s the first thing we do when we board.

- always try and book the aqua show the first night on board. Depending on sea conditions it gets cancelled more often later in the week. At least that’s my observation and it’s hard to rebook if you already have other things planned.

this show is pretty amazing on every oasis class ship. Seen it countless times and it never gets old.

- I wish you could book entertainment before you board. At reduced capacity, it was easy to book at your leisure after you boarded. Now, not so much.

- I miss the paper compass. Trying to read from the app off your phone in the sun is nearly impossible .

We had the paper compass last week on VY, a month ago on Ovation and in March on SY.  Must vary by ship.

I had forgotten all about Wipeout Cafe.  I will be making note to do breakfast there.  Thanks again.  You are helping plan out our food choices.

-  I forgot about the Small Wonders….I may have to track down a map and find them all. They are pretty cool and we have lots of sea days 😊

- the water package available for pre-purchase is 24 16 oz bottles for $27 which includes gratuity. I suppose it cheaper to buy your own case and bring it, but I can barely manage my luggage and wine, much less a case of water. Priorities!

i don’t recall seeing this before but you can now purchase beverages and have them delivered direct to your stateroom mini “cooler” .

We also had paper compass in march on symphony. I know not all ships use the app, but what about the people that completely want to disconnect and not use their phones?

maybe they have compasses at guest services. I know we haven’t gotten any in the cabin, and there was nothing on the racks by guest services on boarding day….it’s not like they saving any trees because the sale pitches, shopping talks etc are still on paper…. I’ll have to  check…..

After not getting a compass on night one on Indy last month, we asked our cabin steward to leave one each night and he did after that.

They should have paper copies somewhere.  I would ask your cabin steward.

I bet if you mention to your cabin steward that you would like a paper Compass you will have one in your room each day.

Yes, ask your cabin attendant and they will leave you one each night. This is what we did. Also, you can go to Guest Services for one. We were just on Oasis and I would think its the same on Allure.

On Oasis there was nothing on the racks by Guest Services either. We were told its due to COVID. People picking one up reading it then placing it back on the rack, then someone else touches it.

Dinner, but I thing the menu is the same. We will probably have another lunch here this week!

Can you pay a la carte for lunch at Sabor or is it like dinner where it is over $20 pp? Going next week and never made it there on our 14 day b2b in May. Trying to do the things we missed this time.

$24.99. According to the app, the same for lunch and dinner. Honestly, it’s so reasonable considering  you can order as much of the apps, entrees etc you want. We couldn’t even fit in dessert!

Agree. We had dinner at Sabor on Harmony 5/29. Booked ahead of time for 15% off or whatever so it was even more reasonable. Our family of 8 reordered apps for the table about 5 times. The guac is always good too. Didn't love the entrees tbh but the churros and chocolate banana chimichangas for dessert were also a big hit. The jalapeno margarita was good too; didn't except actual sliced jalapeno floating in it but if you like spicy...

If you dont mind me asking was your 3 day dining package cheaper on the ship or before boarding. We are contemplating getting a dining package for the first time and are not sure when is the best time to gbuy it.

I never priced it prior. I’m sure I overpaid 😂 it was a last minute decision. Mainly because #1, I don’t like a 5:15 dining time,  and 8 is too late  😴 #2, MTD is anyways a hot mess on this class of ship in my opinion, and finally since my royal up offer wasn’t accepted, I figured why not? 🤑 Maybe a spa day too!

both Nicole and I are D+, so we could have done the BOGO, but Denise and Mia are not. I’d already paid for Sabor night one.

anyway, you are probably sorry you asked after this long story, 🤦🏼‍♀️ but bottom line is we paid $311.52  for two people including gratuity for  the three night package , which included a surcharge at Izumi for hibachi.

The Cruise Director on the Mariner said in his Coffee Talk thing that it a few weeks there will be no more paper compasses.  I am assuming he meant fleet wide.  We will see

we will be on Allure one more time in December out of Galveston, so I will get another opportunity 💕

I understand young people like the slides but why can’t they leave one without? To remove this beautiful view which that ugly slide on all of the Oasis ships is so short sighted. If I bring our grandkids I can go on Carnival if I want a slide or any of the other Royal ships but 99% of time it is just my H & I , Allure is our favorite Royal ship and Fort Lauderdale our favorite sail away port so will be sticking with Celebrity for most past once slide goes up.
