Looking for the best Hotel and Parking Garage for Bayonne.

Any help would be appreciated. Will be there in July.

Don't want a dump, don't need a 5 star hotel....

Any help will be appreciate.d

We stay at Embassy Suites in Elizabeth, NJ near the Newark Airport.  They have an outdoor lot and used to have a park and cruise rate.  We have never parked there though, we prefer to park at the port so we can head home immediately after the cruise.  There is nothing really close though, most are 20 minutes away.

Doubletree also offers the option to park n cruise.   They used to have a shuttle to get to and from cruise port but earlier this year it wasn't running due to covid.  Might be back now or take an Uber if you want to leave car there instead of paying $25/day to park at port.

I have used Trinity Reservations service three times this year.  They offer a package rate for one night hotel stay, parking and car service to and from the cruise port.  I drove from RI and was very happy with the service.  The hotels were not close to any

eateries.

If you don't want a park and stay package the only place you should consider for parking at Cape Liberty is the parking facility at Cape Liberty itself. $25 per day either for the garage or the outdoor lot, if the garage is full. There's no other legitimate parking facility near the port.

There's a cluster of five hotels on International Blvd. in Elizabeth adjacent to The Mills at Jersey Gardens outlet mall. Of the five, the Residence Inn by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott and Embassy Suites would be the best choices IMO.
