She reminded me I get a 15% BCC discount on drink packages and to call when I was ready to book the package for my Feb cruise.

You do get that discount, but being CC Elite and above now also comes with beverage discounts so it's either or that you could apply depending on status. I think the BCC discount is 15% flat no matter what tier level someone has with them.

BCC is a flat 15% discount.

Called Blue Chip Club yesterday. WE were informed the offers are based not only on the amount played in the casino on board ship but also on amount played at other casinos associated with Blue Chip Club. We play everyday onboard (lots of $$). The most they will offer us is 60% off a cruise. They also stated the offer is not available for the Beyond or holiday sailings. I am seeing on here posts that  contradict what we were told. Not sure what to believe.

As usual, they lied to you.  I don't gamble yet we got the offer.  And I book the Beyond for Dec. 4.

It's not so much that they lied, it's just that there's different "truths" for different people !  😉

I don't know how to become a BCC member without playing in the casino.  I am trying to get my husband enrolled in BCC but have not found a way to do it.

Try signing up here:

I did this for my husband but it is so that he gets email.  I don't see a way to sign up so that he gets a BCC membership number.  We will use his seapass to play slots when we get on our next cruise.

Try filling out your email form with his name, Captains Club number, and remove your BCC number.   That worked for me.    When BCC responded with the confirmed cruise for him, they recommended he sign up to receive promos.   So, he qualified for one, but he did not get the email because he wasn't signed up for it.

I already got the BCC cruise under my name for the Mexican Riviera cruise so we don't need another one.  I just want to get him BCC membership which looks like the only way to do so is to use his seapass in the casino.

A hard signup that included a membership number can only be obtained by either playing at least once in the casino OR by applying for casino credit which would also lead to Celebrity/BCC making you an offer for a free/discounted cruise.

I think that is highly unlikely unless you specifically enrolled to a marketing agreement such as tying your MGM and Cruise accounts or request a particular offer with a host broker such as URcomped. Even then it's extremely unlikely they'd constantly exchange players data given today's strict data protection laws.

I learned that whatever BCC tell you is like telling a goodnight story to a child, 5% of it is true and the rest made up on the spot, these agents are just winging it and don't have the slightest clue.

I believe it's tied to RC Casino Royale Program, which makes perfect sense.

Just checked my emails.  Blue chip has a new offer for free veranda cabin, out of Florida to be used before the end of this year.  I scored a cabin on the Beyond for Dec. 4.

Yep, I got the same and grabbed a nice E1 Infinite Veranda, deck 9 port side on the Edge, for a 10-day to the Southern Caribbean in November.  Thank you Celebrity!

I'm booked on the Equinox for an 11 night cruise beginning December 1st.  Very excited and grateful I received the email....and verified the authenticity here. I'll end up paying about $2k for the taxes, gratuities and premium drink package for my husband and me. All in for less than $100 per night per person for a veranda cabin is a awesome!

Has anyone who booked through the Blue Chip offer been able to use Flights by Celebrity? I'm getting a bunch of error messages when I try to book flights....

I booked the blue chip offer and have booked my flights with Celebrity. I actually had the blue chip people book them when I booked the cruise. I have been unable to get seat assignments done, so far. Hoping they get the airfare paid so I can do that. We sail in under 60 days.

Are Blue Chip offers labeled in a particular way, or from another email address?  I get several emails from Celebrity daily.  I'm an Elite Plus and gamble on every cruise but have never noticed an offer.  I guess I need to pay attention!

So true.   I've had excellent customer service from Angela and Emma.   Both of them moved me to a cabin of my choice on both of my booked cruises.   Both were friendly, helpful, and a joy to work with.

I had called last weekend and a gentleman told me I could not move my cabin to a Sunset Veranda.  He was kind of rude about it.   Snarked that I had a complimentary cabin.   I was insistent that it is allowed (I was told this on my other booking) and asked him to check with his supervisor.   He put me on hold and then said he would call me back.  Never did.

I called again yesterday and made the cabin change with no issue.  Not only that, Emma was super helpful pricing out All inclusive and al a carte on drinks, tips, etc.   A world of difference in customer service.  She reminded me I get a 15% BCC discount on drink packages and to call when I was ready to book the package for my Feb cruise.

Agree, I was hung up on recently by a Blue Chip rep. because they didn't want to answer my question.

I earned Amethyst, but they never sent anything about the benefits or cruise options.

Told different things about when the tier expires. Earning is extended to end of year, but I was told it expires January 31 2023?

On one call I was told the basic beverage package would be included, next call they said No.

Royal Caribbean is much better organized. They actually have offers listed online and detailed benefits listed.

I do not recommend Blue Chip.

Yet, if you like to sail with Celebrity anyway (that's us), and you gamble even a bit - it's the only game in town !

Not really, there's the 3rd party cruise casino hosting company URCOMPED. COM
