Please everyone add to a prayer chain for John and Laura Nielsen..Laura was the first one to start a  cruise critic topic for Oceania..over 23 years ago..John suffered a massive heart attack and needs all the love and all the prayers we can send his way..!!

Oh gosh, Jan, I'm so sorry to hear this.  I've been an email correspondent with Laura for many years -- back to Renaissance days, I think.  Will certainly send prayers and healing vibes her way. And of course for John,

Like Jan and Mura I have “known” Laura since the Renaissance group days.

Thank you for chiming in Joe..In my heart I know you saved Stu when he had his hear attack in 2005

I cannot believe  it was that long ago

Although I don't know Laura and John, I'm sending positive thoughts their way.  I know how terrifying those events are.  My husband had a cardiac arrest in 2004 while mowing the grass.  Whether you call it an angel or a once-in-a-lifetime coincidence, I found him in time to perform CPR and be resuscitated by the EMTs.  Ken doesn't remember a thing about it;  I'm the one still carrying the memory of those awful, awful precious minutes.  Praying for John's recovery.

Hi all, it’s taken time for me to make my way back on here.   John passed away on October 28th after fighting so hard for 22 days to stay with us.   Jan was able to talk  to him on speaker phone a few times, he always smiled hearing her voice. 

 

I appreciate all of your prayers and encouragement here, as well as through Jan privately.   
 

I hope to one day be back on board Oceania with our dear friends.  John would want that for me.
