Casino Promotional Chips

You can buy promo chips before the cruise and get 10% extra. My question is the form the promo chips come in and when playing what is the difference between these and chips that can later be cashed in. I know promo chips must be played through, are these given in 1$ denominations?

Finally I note that when you go to the cashier to collect your promo chips you have to collect them all at the same time, I take it that these promo chips can be played over a few days and don’t have to be all played in one sitting? For info I’d intend using them at the roulette table.

They come in various denominations. I didn't see $1, but I didn't ask. I was given $25 and $5 denominations at different times.

They are clearly marked "promotional". You will have no trouble telling them apart from regular chips.

You don't have tp play them all at once. You can always put them in your pocket and come back later. They must be played before the end of the cruise though.

I played mine at blackjack and it was much easier to cycle them then I thought. Even when I was winning or holding around even, it's still win a hand, lose a hand, so the promo chips get replaced quickly.

The Promo Chips are different than normal chips -  I know that it is at least color and possible other markings.

I believe if you buy a PROMO Chip Package they deliver to you all at once when you redeem.  You can play your promo chips throughout the complete cruise and do not have to use on one day or one table.

If you play a Prom Chip and win the payout is made in NON-Promo Chips which are able to be cashed in for cash or gamble it away.   The objective for many is to convert all their Promo Chips into Non-Promo chips first.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m intending using them on roulette as I said and as such will need 1$ chips for covering a few numbers. When I’ve had the free promo chips in the past they were 5$ and you had to match the bets, this time 5$ chips are too high a denomination for me.

We have played with the promo chips (roulette) and the croupier is happy to change the $5 chip for singles so you can play individual numbers.  There is a $5 minimum bet (at most times) but it can be spread over several numbers or number groups.

We are also able to 'redeem' the promo chips from the cashier $55 at a time.  We have $600 ($660 with the bonus) purchased for our upcoming T/A, but we will most likely play $55 at a time.

Thanks StartrainDD, it’s normally $10 min bet/spin now but I’ll need 10 single dollar chips/spin. I’ll go ahead and order them now, still may lose but at least I’ll start with an edge over the house on the single zero table😀.

I use promo chips on every cruise. I usually do 100 dollars at a time, last cruise I did 150 at a time. all $1 chips. At the roulette table you bet $5 minimum. Also, you cannot play red/black, you must use real cash $5 for that match play for elite on up.
