Hoping someone will know what entertainment is on Quantum this month - theatre , shows , times etc and whether reservations are required ?

Just hopping on for a little 6 nighter and trying to plan whether to book any outrageously priced speciality dining also . $103AU for Chops ... really? Having the Peso of the Pacific in the wallet sure makes extras a challenge. $5 casino bet is almost $10AU now - Yikes . Our USA$  visitors will get some bargains here on land..

Just got off Quantum in Hawaii. No reservations needed for any shows. There were several shows every night.  Some shows started as late as 11:15. Look at a three night package for Specialty,  prices run about $30.00 per meal.  Chop's and Jamies were outstanding.  We had thought about staying on to Sydney but the airfare back to CA.  was outrageous.

There should be a couple of resident bands and a variety of invites.

If you can’t get specialty dining for the right price, the solarium bistro is good. It’s mostly free but has a couple of upcharge items like lobster, lamb chops.

That’s still $70 per meal and don’t forget you have already paid for food.

I don’t know what kind of food you like but you should be able to get anything you desire complementary or a small upcharge.

The main dining room can do off menu items ,a lobster,a big steak ???

You won’t starve.

We were on Quantum two weeks ago. There were no reservations needed for any show venue. There were ares reserved for D+ and above at every showroom, but 10 minutes before show time the areas were opened to everyone.

Got off Quantum on Tuesday. They asked for reservations at Starwater, but you could probably get in at 10 minutes before the show started. Did not need reservations for Sequins or any Headliner show in the Royal Theater. We had the Australian Beatles, they were good, and did a show in the Theater plus a concert in the Music Hall. We also enjoyed the Caribbean band and Astro, they were in Music Hall almost every other night. The Pub was usually too crowded to get seats, Carlos was performing and he was good. Hope that helps.

Sometimes the entertainment becomes a contact sport:

"

Footage has captured the horrifying moment an Australian magician was tackled on stage while performing a show on a cruise ship.

Ben Murphy was performing on Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas on March 1 when he invited a female passenger on stage.

A member of the audience was recording the show when Murphy kicked off his latest trick with the woman.

In the video, Murphy leans towards the woman, sitting on the stage, and uses his mouth to touch a folded card wedged between her lips.

He leaned in gently to tap their cards together as part of the cheeky performance before a man then rushed at him.

Murphy's face lit up in panic as he was tackled by the man.

The woman was seen pushing the man away, visibly upset with him, before he walked away.

A stunned Murphy later posted the footage to Instagram.

'Entertainment, comedy and magic are NOT contact sports,' he wrote.

'This guest should not have been allowed to enjoy the rest of his cruise.'

Murphy said it took a week for someone to approach him and get a statement and claimed he was told the delay was because there were 'no witnesses'.

Royal Cruises told Daily Mail Australia it could not comment on an ongoing investigation.

Social media users quickly swooped in to defend Murphy, sharing their shock at the footage.

'We were in the audience for this and my jaw nearly hit the floor…. Feel sorry for not only you, but the poor wife and kids who saw the whole thing,' one wrote.

Another added: 'We were in the audience and it was absolutely nuts!

'We assumed he would have been locked in his cabin for the rest of the cruise and I'm fuming if he wasn't!

'You did an amazing job continuing on with the rest of the show. Hope you're doing ok.'

Murphy is a comedy magician and illusionist who has toured around the globe to perform his acts. ":
