Still taking our cards -- we have a holder that has passport and vaccine card slots.

Good, no one will ask to see them, but by all means take them.

Doesn't change the fact that Royal has "de facto" zero covid protocols.

We leave out of Galveston on 11/13 on the Allure. First cruse back since the Pandemic.

I'm a little confused on the the Wellness Check. Ours is a mid-afternoon time.

Is this now the new Boarding check-in?

Thanks in advance for any input on this.

Yes...  this would be your arrival time for check-in. Highly doubt they will even look at your Vax doc as long as you completed the health questionnaire online

I personally handle this as a shift to universal precautions. I assume covid is onboard every ship and it's up to me to avoid catching it. How important that is will vary from individual to individual. You will still see some passengers and crew masking by personal choice. I bring test kits, fever reducer, cough medicine, pulse ox and thermometer along just in case. I would not report to medical unless my pulse ox was low. There is no longer any obligation to isolate onboard but it would be nice if people who know or suspect they are positive to wear masks so people may want to pack an N95 just in case.
