Jacqui, we will probably try for  the MD R for lunch when we board on Thursday, just in case you are around.   I understand it will probably be raining….

We’re at the airport now.  On our way to join you!

YAY 🙂. Safe travels and see you soon 🙂

I’m meeting a CC friend in San Diego in the morning - doing lunch but I’ll be back on board in lots of time for the M & G.  See you there if not sooner.

@kazureally enjoying this. I will be on board mid January.  Could you tell me in relation to the aft elevator where is the soda gizmo. I like to make myself a cocktail or two to enjoy on my balcony in the evening.

It’s mid ship - at the Lido bar where the Lido pool is.  It is currently out of order - hopefully it will be working by the time you board.

It took a week and 1/2 for one of the ice making machines to get fixed so your timing might be just about right.

Was going to relax on my balcony yesterday but with the NCL ship across the way at pier 1

blaring out it’s music, it was impossible.  So loud I could not take it on my cabin verandah.  I don’t know how the passengers on board manage it.  Interesting that the ship arrived later than us yet left earlier than we did.

The mariachi show was last night and quite good.  True mariachi music.

Tried to upload these and the videos to no avail.  at least the photos went today.  Will try the videos for you.

Going to try this one at a time - since it takes so long for even one.

I think the others will have to get loaded later - either at Bingo or while I am getting beautified for Dressy night.  At least I will be doing something else. LOL.

Here is the Gala night’s menu in the MDR for tonight:

The entree special last night in CO was short ribs.  I didn’t order it but from the looks on the faces and lips smacking in the room, I would say it must have been good 😉

Last night was one of those Sleepless in Seattle nights so not being able to get to sleep, I ended up sleeping in.  So I hit the Lido for breakfast bite.

The offerings in it for breakfast are really pretty extensive.  There is pretty much something there for everyone IMO.

Jacqui - Good luck at bingo!! 😊

Thanks Betsy.  I need some luck - haven’t had much at all this cruise.  I’m way overdue - not that that means anything 😉

Looks like there’s no happy hour at all, many days- I suppose it’s because so many people have the HIA.  But disappointing for those who don’t have it.

It’s weird, Ann.  I’m sure we had it on the sea days on the 5 day portion but, yet it’s missing today.

There’s a number without it on this cruise, I think.

J & J offered to buy me a drink the other day and I passed John my card.  He said no, I’ll get it.  I said no, you don’t have HIA - I do - no need for you to pay for mine.   They do have it next segment.

I saw the sweetest little one at the Sea View Bar last night.

He was in a shark suit with fins and the whole meal deal.  And such a nice young man.

I thought he was adorable.

Those are his pj’s.  He loves sharks his mother said and has shark slippers, and a bunch of shark paraphanalia.

special note - I did ask permission to take the pic and post and his mother happily gave it.  Said a lot of people post pics of him as he is photogenic - and he is - Look at that smile 🙂

Brings back memories of the air show we got at lunch in Little Italy last spring. I’m fairly certain we saw a couple of go-around. Dang, they were low, and rather flat in their approaches.

I so agree Helen - I’ll bypass the PG for this any time.

Since the dining room is always in chaos the first night we board we have made it a tradition to go to the Tamarind on the first night.  So that's the plan for our TA in October.  Keep it in mind and we'll all go together!!

Helen 😍
