Yes, I know   Steven has left The Jewel.  He is going to become the Relief GM on The Pride.  His reason for this change is personal.

I do not know.  I am not sure if he knows what his schedule will be yet.

He will be working two months on, four months off, but he didn’t say when he was going to start. I will really miss him on the Jewel!

This was answered before the later posts.   Shame as we were looking forward to seeing him on the Jewel later this year.

As I said, I wrote that BEFORE the later posts, as it came up on the previous page and so I answered it from that one.     The implication in my answer to your FIRST post was that he was, almost certainly, on vacation NOW.

That said, he is an incredible general manager and an incredible human being who cared about the crew and passengers. His experience opening hotels around the world and his calm professional demeanour and exceptional work ethic will be greatly missed on the Jewel.

Yes, he will be missed on The Jewel.  Yes, he had just come back in late March from vacation.  This was a very difficult decision for him to make and it is wonderful that NCL is allowing him to work Relief only (2 on 4 off).  I for one, wish him well.

I love Sammie Jo!  We have sailed with her three times and always felt like she took great care of us.  Does anyone know if her sister Stephanie (sp?) has been promoted yet from Cruise Next staff to become a  Cruise Next Director?
