Carnival Offers

I have received many offers, free suite, free balcony etc. with drinks everywhere and I have a cruise booked for March.

But we do spend a lot of time in the casino.  So my cruises technically are not  "free".

I suspect the casino offers will keep on coming so long as you continue donating money to Carnival.  But I was really wondering about non-casino offers.

I am just glad I got to go on as many cruises as I did last year and the year before. The prices thus far this year and further into the future are not as compelling. Obviously everything is going up...not really complaining but also not really willing to pay these prices for Carnival's current product either.

I haven't seen anything good. But I always have cruises booked. That's about to change in a year unless something good comes up.

Same.  My wife and I have three cruises booked this year and two next year.  All three this year were booked with the 50th anniversary deals from last spring.  That's really the only thing that has kept us from cancelling our April Mardi Gras cruise after the port change to Nassau from San Juan. Final payment is due in a couple of weeks and right now we've only paid a deposit, so we may still cancel. Right now, we have January and April cruises booked for next year, with April being the Jubilee. We aren't looking to book another Carnival cruise right now.  We are going to see how these upcoming cruises go.  We are looking at possible doing another cruise line next fall.

I have had some “free” ocean views and interiors with DOU in casino for me and companion since December and these have now continued into Jan and Feb, which is not too bad.  Plus $200 free play.

Just FYI, if you receive casino offers, you should look them up DAILY because in the last few days, they’ve opened up more weeks in the next 2 months whereas before, they only were allowing me to book in Nov or later.  I just checked and they will allow me to book these for this month and February.

I already have 2 upcoming cruises booked

Casino offers, free* balcony.  Non-casino offers, not really anything good.  40% off cruise rates, which should be consider the typical fare lol.  There's pretty much no reason to book without at least that offer.

Yeah, I don't donate my money to Carnival through the casino, so all that affects me are the VIFP offers.  I loaded up on good offers while they were out there, I've got cruises booked through next February but nothing beyond that.

In the absence of some good offers I'm really thinking of trying out some other lines.

Last good offer I got was in Oct, still kicking myself for not booking something then. Got a decent Black Friday offer so booked Panorama in April with a $50 deposit in case nothing better comes along. Nothing since then.

Been looking this week at other lines because Carnival doesn't leave from San Juan which is my new bright idea since I put Alaska on the back burner.

Same here. We’ve been saving flight miles and Hilton points for a few years.  I love sailing from SJ and that route.  Haven’t sailed from there since Carnival quit sailing from there.
We love the Caribe Hilton.

This is what I’m talking about when I say check offers daily.
This wasn’t in my offers yesterday.
The cruise is in 4 days.

Oh to have the kind of flexibility to take advantage of a great rate only a few days out!
