STEVE-O Posted March 1, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2023 We've always turned in the W&F laundry bag when we needed to and have never been charged The footnote on the new C&A benefits page indicates the freebie (D+) is only good on the W&F date. Is this limitation new??

Ashland Posted March 1, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2023 On the last 8 cruises we've been on we've been able to use the W&F on the day we've asked for it, and have had no problems doing so. Just ask your cabin steward for the (paper) bag.

DallasGuy75219 Posted March 1, 2023 #6 Share Posted March 1, 2023 Seems like they'd want to spread out the work over the cruise rather than get slammed by free D+ and Pinn laundry the same day that everyone else is sending their paid-for laundry.
molly361 Posted March 1, 2023 #7 Share Posted March 1, 2023 Is the Wash and Fold always on the same day? For me it has always been hit or miss if I even get notified about it. Usually if I want it I have to ask the cabin steward
STEVE-O Posted March 2, 2023 Author #8 Share Posted March 2, 2023 We're doing a 15-night Panama Canal cruise next month. It'll be interesting if there's only 1 W&F date......
cruisegirl1 Posted March 2, 2023 #9 Share Posted March 2, 2023 I've never heard of a W&F day prior to reading it yesterday on CC. We've simply asked for a bag, filled it and left it for the cabin attendant. We often used two during the cruise, even if there were just a few items in the bag. (it is complimentary for us) . We make sure not to send it too close to the end of the cruise. It is so helpful for B2B cruises as long as one understands what can go in the bag and how the clothing is laundered. smokeybandit Posted March 2, 2023 #10 Share Posted March 2, 2023 It wouldn't surprise me if the perk was always only available on W&F day, but never enforced
icsys Posted March 2, 2023 #11 Share Posted March 2, 2023 I've never read or heard it referred to as a 'wash and fold day' previously
zebra36 Posted March 2, 2023 #12 Share Posted March 2, 2023 Usually pack just enough of the items that are suitable for the bag and have been using midway through cruise, will see how this works in a week.
cruisegirl1 Posted March 2, 2023 #13 Share Posted March 2, 2023 It seems if it’s only available one day during the cruise, that eligible members in a cabin can likely only use the benefit once rather than once each. The items are so limited of what can go in the bag that we’ve never needed more than one bag at any particular day. But we use two bags during the course of a cruise. m
