price of specialty restaurants

Hi y'all. I am trying to get the price of the speciality restaurants. I read the prices were raised. Then I read, no they weren't. Then I read they were now $59 ...needless to say I am confused. Please un-confuse me.  Thanks

$39 per person here on the Discovery.

thank you..we were on the Discovery last September and it was $29.00 so that's not too big a jump. I am assuming it's the same price on all the Princess ships.

It was $29 per person on the Royal in December/January.  But I read somewhere that the specialty restaurants went up the 10 bucks at the same time as the price hike with the plus/premium packages.

Crown Grill is $39. Sabatini’s is $29.

As of 2/20/23, the Crown Grill is now $39 pp and Sabatini’s is now $35 pp.  not sure about the other specialty restaurants but looks like all of them went up by $10 pp since a couple of weeks ago.

Menu on the website shows $29 but the app shows $35. So trust the app.

With the quality or lack there of the meat as of late I will save the OBC and buy my wife a bottle of Chanel. Sizzler has a better steak I’m sorry to say.

I guess I was only looking at the $10.00 raise and not percentages...nearly all the restaurants in our area have had to raise prices comparable.

We are going to eat at one of the Specialty restaurants, probably Harmony to celebrate our birthdays. We have never left the main dining room hungry and have not been displeased with our choices.

Just lookin at our weekly shopping bill here in the UK. Price increases as follows

Eggs  +40%

Bread+ 30%

Tomatoes +60% ( if available!)

Chicken +40%

Pasta +80%

I could go on. 

So, perhaps the increases in prices are not unreasonable.

We just went to Costco today and other than the rotisserie chicken, I’d say prices were up by 30% on almost everything else that we purchased.

I think these price increases are a reality check. 

Numerous posts about poor quality of food in the MDRs, portion sizes,  reduced choice in the buffets etc, but in the real world food prices are spiralling upwards.

People dont want to pay higher cruise prices,  but expect the same level  of  food quality and quantity. It just ain't possible.
