Aqua Class Questions - Welcome bottle of sparkling wine (upon request)

First-time Celebrity cruiser here.   We are booked in Aqua class and I see one of the perks is a welcome bottle of sparkling wine (upon request).  Who/where do you request this form?  Do you request pre-boarding or once on board and with who, do you place the request?

You can ask your stateroom attendant after boarding.

You can normally request it anytime. We will sometimes ask for it day 1, and other times later in the week. Just speak to your stateroom attendant.

Will they still allow you to swap sparkling for red/white or has that gone away?  On Eclipse in December.

I have read that they are not swapping out the sparkling wine.  We don’t bother getting the sparkling or trying to swap.

We were refused a swap on the Beyond.  The Celebrity sparkling wine goes good with orange juice.

We were in Aqua last Feb (2023). Our very patient room attendant put it on ice for us a few days in a row.  When we finally openned it, it was horrible (I drink pretty much anything). It ended up going down the drain.

I would agree....worst "liquid" on the ship. We dumped ours as well....Blech!
