Poor dude ended up having to be stuck in Isafjordur for at least three days after we arrived, according to the ED on the Wake Show, due to flight cancelations from the storm.

FCC - this is one of those complicated things.

Princess doesn't have to do anything as it is due to weather. I think the 20% was generous. On the other hand, I also get where people may have used all of these vacation time and feel that their trip is ruined but this is beyond the cruise line's control.

For those who had private tours - I hope your private insurance covers those that did not refund you. In the future - check with the private tours and see if you are refunded if the ship doesn't dock before you book and consider buying 3rd party insurance that would cover the cost of those items that is not covered by Princess's insurance.

WHAT ARE TROLLS FROM NORSE MYTHOLOGY?

Norwegian trolls are believed to be mythical creatures that live in isolated rocks or caves. They are believed to live alone or in small families and are hostile towards humans. As per the troll legends, they are believed to be evil and dangerous beings that prefer the wilderness.

And now we know! Thanks! We didn't have a guide to tell us any of that...
