So much irony here.

As far as thinking you can impose "high demands", or even a "bare minimum" of demands on other passengers, good luck with that. 🤣

Strings? Nudity?

If there is no minimum, there is no minimum.

No irony,

No irony,

Where did anybody propose strings or nudity?

If you have to resort to a straw man argument, you must know you're on shaky ground.

Not yet? When people say nothing can affect their enjoyment of dinner and everyone should have a choice they need to be ready for various choices. It is not only THEIR choices.

Ridiculous. 🙄

Absolutely not.

Why not? Strings, nudity, wifebeaters and so on are all choices. I am sure all will have own reasons.

Just don't look and enjoy your dinner.

What has been the response of the staff manning the entrance to the MDR when you voice your complaints what others are wearing into the MDR and the staff isn't doing anything about it?

Now you got it.  Everyone can live together in harmony, in their own personal oasis. A coexistence I believe it what you called it. (Ship references above on purpose)

Never attempted for many reasons.

I'm not a complainer. I feel for stuff , although in some cases it was warranted.

I like this term a Personal Oasis.

Ship's MDR does not strike me as PO at all.

In some reason I feel as people would be really upset if drags will make obvious appearance. 😉

Bottom line, there is no enforced dress code rule regarding shorts in the dining room.

Norms of dress and behavior are always evolving, whether we like it or not.

Whenever we venture out of our homes, we can expect affronts to our personal sensibilities.

It is a gorgeous day out, why don't you go take a walk around the pond or go to the zoo?  It is a good way to open the mind.....

I am glad you are enjoying a zoo.

In some reason people who think they are open minded are only open minded about shorts. 😉

Your assumptions continue....

So why else would you ask my name?

Given what you have disclosed about your cruising history, there is a good chance we've shared a ship at some point. I'm sure you remember seeing me at dinner.😉

Maybe we know each other and you watched me on ships.

Otherwise I hope this is not an admissions that you like crocs. ))))

😂 Except here on CC where it doesn't matter!  Take your own advise and practice what you preach. Be part of the solution and not part of the problem. At least in your opinion.
