Diamond Plus discount on Internet Package

If we purchase an internet package on our planner, do we get the Diamond Plus discount (2 days free Internet) discount upon boarding?

No, the D+ discount only applies to on board purchases.

What we do if we buy a package is use one of our 48 hours and then use the other 48 hours as a discount on a package. So, I'll use my 48 hours and then we'll use DH's against the package.  You might want to price it out that way and see how it works out.

If you are casino prime, you get 30 % on plan after you use your 2 days of D+ discount.

Interesting…I didn’t think they would give you a [casino or C&A] discount on a partial-cruise plan.  Thanks !

There is a place to click by the day or for the rest of the cruise. I often apply my D+ to the "for the rest of the cruise" price.

That's what we do.  I price it out when it goes on sale pre-cruise.  Except for once it was always cheaper to buy on board.

For a typical 7 days, I skip the 1st day as it’s a waste. Use the D+ for the following 2 days and apply the casino discount on the balance of days internet package.

Awesome !  I’m going to try this on my upcoming Serenade sailing 7-6.  Thanks again !  Do the VOOM folks know how to do this or do you have to get the casino involved ?
