Loracpin2 Posted June 27, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2023 Will get an answer a lot quicker on CC than trying to contact RCI. smokeybandit Posted June 27, 2023 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2023 yes, though they won't be the most powerful models if that is important to you.

Won't take my everyday one but will now take a mini as a back-up.

MrsKMB Posted June 27, 2023 #5 Share Posted June 27, 2023 I was really hoping for a funny story about how you couldn't get the blow dryer to work! 😂

Yes, they are at once under-powered yet way too hot. I call those types the "Fisher-Price Singe & Fry" defective toy blow dryer.
Cruise a holic Posted June 28, 2023 #12 Share Posted June 28, 2023 Yes, but as previously said- if you have thick hair- best to bring your own.
gerif Posted June 28, 2023 #13 Share Posted June 28, 2023 Maybe I spend too much time in hotels and motels but I’ve never bothered bringing my own dryer (I like to pack light). Therefore, I have no problem with the dryers provided.

ccotting Posted June 28, 2023 #15 Share Posted June 28, 2023 If I remember correctly they are the type which requires you to continuously push a button while using it for safety reasons. I have arthritis in my hands and so I always bring my own as so many hotel provided hairdryers have this feature and are too hard for me to use

They have three settings off, high and low...no holding the button down.

They have three settings off, high and low...no holding the button down. We have had both in the last year or so. On our most recent cruise, ours stayed on but our friends in the cabin next to us had to hold the button down. Theirs stopped working halfway through the cruise and the room steward replaced it with one that stayed on. My guess is that RCI is replacing the old style with the new style when the old ones stop working properly.
