Shareholder Benefits

Are there certain promotions or sales that the shareholder benefit is not combinable with?  The recent July 4 sale that had $200 obc per person, or a state residency discount, are my immediate concerned.  Thanks in advance.

Lately it has been combinable with all other discounts.  Like @cruisestitch sez, send it and see.

I believe the only restriction is non-commisionable cruise fares.

If the submission site isn't working, just send an email to RCL. They let me submit via email. I got some error message about no space or something full, even before I tried to attach the documents. It's like their voicemail box filled up😂

Give it a shot (as others have already said).  Here is the applicable portion of the fine print on the Shareholder Benefit Offer form:

 

Benefit is non-transferable and not available to employees, agents of Royal Caribbean Group or its subsidiaries and affiliates, travel agents and tour operators. Benefit is not combinable with interline rates, travel agent rates, and employee friends and family rates. Benefit cannot be redeemed for chartered sailings or complimentary sailings.

I sent the required information to shareholderbenefit@rccl.com last weekend and got an email saying X received my email. Only took 2 or 3 days and my OBC showed up online.

To the OP,   

 

I've submitted requests for cruises out 2 years and all of them have all the OBC's from the book on-board.    I've received OBC's for all of them.

It's ridiculous that the online site to apply for the shareholder OBC is still broken over 3 months later (today is Sept. 20th). I'm going to fill in the PDF form and scan it and email it to them.

We had no problem submitting our shareholder form a couple of weeks ago.  😊

Mine went through with no issue.

Never see a button to allow file upload of proof of share ownership. Cannot go past the second screen below with the error on it.

After using the online system for a few years, I switched over to email and have gotten excellent results.  My last email (Nov 2022) got results in 3 hours.

I tried all of that. I tried 2 different browsers on my mac and phone. I cleared caches for both on the mac. Never worked for me. Email worked though.

  I just submitted a rquirest for my OBC for our Millennium sailing next May. 

 

 Here is what I did Step by Step ..

 

 Logging into the website

 

Went to item 11 - cliked on "here" on the top line 

 

 

Click Start

 

 

Clicked "Yes" and "Next" 

 

 

Filled in my information and clicked "Next"

 

 

Dropped an edited copy of my August 2023 Account statement (.PDF) showing I held at least 100 shares or more and clicked Next

 

 

 

 

 Filled out the three columns showing Ship, departure date, and reservation number

 

 

 Received confirmation that my request has been received. 

 

 No issues whatsoever.

I have already received my OBC via email and sailed in July. This is exactly what I did. I got an error about no space available or something. The size of the file did not matter either. I tried for a month or so before my sailing.

 Glad that it worked out for you.   I am sure the space available was an error on their end.  Someone not keeping up with clearning out the file system most likely.
