New Go Green Opt-in Link.

I was reading several posts about Celebrity's Go Green program, where you receive extra Power Up points for allowing a slightly lower level of evening cleaning service.  However, the opt-in links in those threads were invalid.

Here's a current link.  This may have been covered before, but if so, I didn't see that and a reminder never hurts.

Not interested in Go Green, Save the Waves or whatever the new save the climate buzz is. More concerned with the direction Celebrity is possibly going with vaping and the possibility of smoking in the casino that effects us that don't vape or smoke. Give me points for not polluting the air.

Thank you for the new link @Stockjock. We have done Go Green several times, and have yet to notice a difference in the service (though we do keep our cabin pretty tidy). However, the extra points did get each of us the coveted second bag of laundry one cruise sooner than we would have had it otherwise, and those bags were most welcome on that cruise.

As Elite + already, an extra point or two will never get me to Zenith in my lifetime.

I personally desire twice a day service, so if I'm not sailing in a Suite on Royal, I'll probably spend my $$$ on Celebrity.

Hello, i was told today by a CC CSR that the extra points for my veranda stateroom would be 3 points per night, so 6 points for each night of the cruise. The way the footnote of the program reads make it sould like it is only 3 total points for the whole cruise. Can others verify that is it X points PER NIGHT please?

You get points equal to a single additional night in whatever your booked category earns.

On a seven night cruise in a regular balcony you would earn 3 points * 7 nights + 3 extra points for Go Green.

You get exactly the same service as before. The only difference is that they use less chemicals to clean the bathroom in the evening.

A veranda stateroom will get you 3 extra Captains Club points for Go Green no matter how long the cruise is.  The rep was wrong.

Thanks, I also just verified with a CC CSR. She said that (conveniently) there were no notes in the system by the previous agent who told me the wrong info.

I think some others on this thread also have the wrong info. I will probably do the opt-in anyway even just to feel I am doing one little thing.

Cheers!
