Tope Tier event

I have a cruise upcoming and haven't sailed since pre covid. What is the top tier event these days?  If I go and my room mate/ SO is not  invited will he

be able to come with me as my guest  or not? Probably not but just figured i would see if anyone knows

Just show your seapass card and your roommate show the invitation. No one will care.

Well, I had to look up Tope, but yes, if you really like bad sparkling wine, it might fit the bill. You can get numerous glasses, if you keep asking for them.

Some of those sparkling wines might cost upwards of $2-3 dollars a bottle….

To me the event is just a sales pitch with cheap wine, not worth the effort to attend.

They are putting the event on the app.. no more invitations … this saves paper 🤷‍♀️

 

Then they can say no one is turning up at the event, and they will discontinue them… thus saving $2 bottles of cheap wine too!

Perhaps if not been to one previously, might be worth the time if nothing else of interest is going on at the same time. Once you have done this you will may come to the conclusion that a second visit is not worth the effort.

The Top Tier Event on my last Voyager Cruise was at night on formal night.  It was on the app and we got a message on our phone.  As I walked passed the cruise director he remarked that I had dressed up.  I thought it was odd that they had it at 7:15 on formal night.

On Grandeur now and our TTE was at 5:00 PM on day 2.  Never had one in the evenings before.  We didn't attend...but we rarely do anyway.

They used to always be at night but they used to hand out the blocks then too.
