Hotel recommendation for seattle?

We will be coming in on Saturday so just one night. Anyone have a recommendation?

Several major chain hotels out by the airport that can arrange transportation to the Port for you.  Cheaper than most of the hotels in the downtown core area.

We stayed at the Marriott Waterfront (pre-covid). It was right across the street from

the pier the Pearl left from. I think it was in the $200-$300 range.

Things have really changed since Pre-Covid : $400-$500 for the weekend on Marriott Member site just now.😬

We stayed at the Westin Seattle, 1900 5th Ave...great location...easy walk to the Space Needle...then down to the Pier and then along to Pikes Market and back to the hotel. $15 Uber ride to the pier.

If you won't have time for exploring the area staying at the airport will save some money. You can then use Seattle Express to the port. There are two cruise terminals in Seattle. Knowing which one you'll be departing from may help in recommending a hotel. The Mediterranean Inn is one of the closest to Pier 91. The Belltown Inn is a 4 block walk to Pier 66. Both are reasonable by downtown hotel standards.

If you are coming in late, the holiday inn express in tukwila is nice. It has a free shuttle from the airport and it is near a lot of restaurants. There is a lot of highway noise on the highway side of the building.

We spent 2 nights at The Mediterranean Inn in the Queen Anne area two weeks ago and loved it.

We just did the Quantum of the Seas a couple of weeks ago (Aug 21 sailing).   Originally going to stay by the airport, then thought better of it.  Ended up staying at the Fairfield Inn (Marriott product) in the Seattle Center area...Comfortable clean room.  Took Lyft from airport--$49 inc. tip.  Easy, door-to-door.  Spent the rest of the day walking around the area--Space Needle, Gates Foundation...all easy walking distance.  Ate at Five Points Cafe... nice casual bar/restaurant--sandwiches/comfort food.  Breakfast at hotel included in the morning, then, at checkout, we took an Uber to the port (Pier 91)...under $20 including tip (2.9 miles, drop-off right in front of entrance).

 

For disembarkation, we checked in our luggage with the "Luggage Valet" service on the ship.  NO CHARGE--they collected the bags and the next time we saw them was at our home airport!  EASY.  So, without bags, we got a quick Lyft to Pike Fish Market...wandered around, ate lunch, then took the fixed rail from Westlake Station to the airport.  $3 pp!  Without any luggage to deal with, it was SO EASY...
