If you are a member of Cruise Deck Plans, the new platform includes (under "more" once you are on the particular ship's page):

Maximum depth of a ship - also an alternative spelling of “draft” , as in an unexpected breeze - but, since this is Cruise Critic, I am inclined to think that poster was talking about depth below the waterline.

Depth of water from the waterline to the bottom of the keel. You will find draught marks painted on the bow and stern of the ship.
