We’re on the Discovery Princess next week. I see the SNF game on the Movies Under the Stars screen listed in our JourneyView, but do you see the other Sunday games playing anywhere else on the ship today?

Any ship I have been on during NFL season always had the 1pm and 4pm games.  Might not be your preference, but there is a game.  Others might be in the casino, but no sound.

@BlerkOneThank you for the MDR menus. This will help us decide which nights we’ll do specialty dining as we’ve got 2 included dinners.

 

I’ve read on a couple blogs that Princess is opening Sabatini’s for lunch on some days. If you have time, would you mind asking if they are doing this on the Discovery? If they are open for lunch what days are they open? We are sailing the same itinerary you are which is why I’m asking. TIA.

Check your stateroom TV? My team, such as it is, is the New Orleans Saints and they won't play, if you can call it that, during the cruise.

I haven't seen it open for lunch, but will try to remember to ask.

I love the souffles.  They’re my favorite.  I’ll always get that if it’s on the menu.

Just checked with Sabatini's and they said no lunch on this ship.

Okay - have some time to post... I see I'm not alone on the ship. Imagine that!

 

I have managed to eat in the 3 MDRs and have no issue with the food or service. Actually quite good. I eat later than most, I guess, so no waiting.

 

But back to day 2

 

Went to see Freda Payne and enjoyed hearing some of her life story. She did perform Band of Gold at the end.

2 day lunch menu - perhaps I should have tried, but tried Gigis's instead. I was a little disappointed with the pizza, so need to try some from Slice to see how they compare. Everthing at Gigi's looked great, though. But first, this thing
