If non-suite, low level (NSLL) Pinns have been exclusively banned from the CK (in the “Top 30” situation) where does that leave the JS ? As a NSLL Pinn I cannot even request CK rezzies in this situation (as I understand it). I’m out. Period. Does that mean that JS are also out. Period ? Pat, I realize that you don’t know since you haven’t had to deal with this situation. Just wondering if anyone else knows the answer. Not all cruises have a Pinnacle count that requires excluding some Pinnacles. It's not an assumption you need to make.
buncosquad Posted December 2, 2023 #127 Share Posted December 2, 2023 How does all this change affect access for embarkation day lunch (and other days for breakfast and lunch, and an odd dinner perhaps) if I am bringing a family of 10 in the Royal Loft and both Star Lofts on Harmony? Sounds like we may have zero access to SL and CK due to non-suite pinnacle members having reserved, or JS? TY

TY You and your family in Royal/Star lofts will have full access and priority over other groups. Why will you think that others in lower category accommodations, or those not in a suite would have priority? No worries. Enjoy your cruise. m

Really isn't anything to do with C&A for myself. Though I will get the rotten tomatoes tossed at me...again...or the flames, but I am actually in the camp that believes the Suites Lounge should be for suites. Cut and dried...no politics, no Pinnacle bashing. Then...If you are in there...you are in a suite along with all the other suite's pax. I also enjoy the Pinnacle "lounge" which is really an event in a section of a common lounge...but is a good alternative. And the newly named "CL"...funny how that is actually back again...is great for coffee and C&A members, Diamond and up. Yeah, sometimes Diamonds may be restricted for a couple of hours, but vouchers are readily available. With the voucher program, IMHO there is no reason not to enjoy the interesting variety of bars and lounges around the ship. We always used to hang out in the C&A lounges, but have found we were missing the fun of "bar hopping" around the ship. But that is just me...and it works for us. Now DO realize I did not create this situation, only saw the writing on the wall. Too many higher up C&A members as the population starting turning "more gray". The C&A society had to change along the way, only due to the huge numbers on board now. Something had to give...and so it goes.

But alas...I don't make the rules. 😉 Oh yeah, I am going to get burned here. That's OK...it's almost happy hour and I can put out the flames. 😄 And you do not have an opinion about the casino masters, sailing in inside/outside/balconies with top priority in suite lounge and CK, priority way above all Pins and JSs? Masters spend a LOT of money in the Casino, as do those that book suites. Royal is looking at the bottom line, as they should, in order to keep "afloat"! 1

I've never eaten in the CK and found some of the night's menus to look more appealing than other nights (subjectively, of course). How did you find the CK food overall when compared to the MDR?
