Rare donswife Posted November 4, 2023 #4 Share Posted November 4, 2023 I was looking at the app for my upcoming Discovery Princess cruise. It is now showing as an option to book 360 pre-cruise. It is listed under Experiential Dining (vs Specialty dining) in the Dine My Way tab. 1
AVCruzers Posted November 4, 2023 #5 Share Posted November 4, 2023 We were curious as to how many guests would pay the $149. We just disembarked on the Discovery and were told that all seats for eacg night were filled for the 360. We don't book the Suites and yet were invited three times to enjoy the 360 Experience within the last year. We thoroughly enjoyed each Experience but would definitely not pay $149 for it. My December 9th, Caribbean Cruise, on the Emerald Princess I get the message that it’s to soon for any specialty dinning & my April cruise on the Discovery Princess it’s also not available. Curious as to whether you would ever pay $149 for a dinner anywhere? I do know that in San Francisco you would pay a lot more $ for a meal like that. Tom😀 Discovery on November 29. I think it popped up in the last couple of weeks, but I booked the Bistro at least a couple of months ago.

I would not be surprised if they open 360 for reservations later, after it is offered to the Suite guests. It is a really cool experience but not something that we personally would pay that much for.

You're more fortunate than most people. No, we wouldn't pay the $149 p/p either. It's just a little out of our price range for a meal.

It is only on those 2 ships because the space was built into Sabatini’s when they built the ships. They need a special place for all the audio visuals and need an available galley

Are you on the latest release? Not OP, but I found the booking I made by phone a month or 2 ago showing up in the app at the correct time and day. We are in a suite, so there might be a lag on when other passengers can book.
trideltjenn Posted November 5, 2023 #18 Share Posted November 5, 2023 Thank you for this! I was finally able to book my MIL (who's in an inside single) with us for 360 Over the Christmas week. I was worried she would not get in with the rest of us (we are all in suites and booked by phone a month or more ago). I had not noticed it before in the bookings and I usually check every few weeks for dinner openings.
CalLuvsCrusingToo Posted November 5, 2023 #19 Share Posted November 5, 2023 We got off Enchanted few days ago. 360 is built into The Catch By Rudi. (which was Great meal IMO) We saw the conga line of guests being escorted into 360. It looks like they are entering the kitchen area, thru double doors. As we were enjoying our meal in the Catch, we could hear some of the sound effects going off in 360. As for us? We had soooo many tours booked this cruise, decided $149 each was too much. Would rather spend the same $$ for a tour of Pompeii and Amalfi coast & Sorrento all day. Different strokes for different folks. The Catch was comped for us, but I would certainly pay for it, much better deal than 360. FYI- the Smoked Salmon appetizer (it was smoking under dome glass) was Fantastic!
opa&oma Posted June 1 #20 Share Posted June 1 Are only Suite passengers allowed to book 360 dinners? How many nights on a 7 day are they done?
Shaver John Posted June 1 #21 Share Posted June 1 I think anyone should be able to book. We went when it was included as a suite guest and really enjoyed it, but will admit we would not pay $300 for it since we have been and I felt it was a one and done. I enjoyed the show, the food was fine if you liked rare meat, which I don't, but the wines were fabulous. So, if we had never gone I am not sure if we would pay, but some parts were great, service was above anything, and so, if you have an extra $300 this may be a great evening for you. Rare Shippy Posted June 1 #24 Share Posted June 1 We went last year. It was free because they gave it complementary if you were in a suite. I think you are really paying for the experience…the fabulous food and wine are the extras. The technology was incredible. You have to constantly look everywhere. The walls really tell a story but if you look down, your tablecloth has changed….but did it really? Many other visual surprises. I heard it cost a million dollars for that room. They say the wines are $500.00 a bottle and not available anywhere else on the ship. I am not usually a wine drinker but these were fabulous. I was really happy that we went but felt no need to go again. Well here we are, a year later and…I just booked it again for our cruise in August. And yes, we are paying for it this time ! 2
CruiseMob Posted June 2 #25 Share Posted June 2 I thoroughly enjoyed it in March on Discovery when I did it. I had to think long and hard about the price before I took the plunge. I justified it as it was just me, so only paying for 1 meal and not 2 and because I wasn't doing any excursions or drink packages which I felt offset the cost. Spa treatments, excursions, cabanas, drink packages etc can all run close to the same cost. It's just what each individual is willing to spend/splurge on. For me, it was totally worth the price of admission.
