No you need to be Elite Plus

An just to be clear, there's no complementary coffee service at any Cafe Al Bacio fleetwide. Some cruiselines do put out complementary drip coffee near their for fee coffee counters but not Celebrity.

free coffee in buffet, early am coffee  there too..  AQ cafe also free  and maybe  on some ships..on  a mid deck area/  near library..it used to be there but children took it over as a play area..

A special treat on E-Class Spa Cafes in the Solarium is the coffee machines are those fancy automatic espresso machines which is self serve and complementary. The complimentary coffee machines in other Spa Cafes and other areas of the ship are your standard drip coffee machines.

It's called the Hideaway - still there on Reflection and Silhouette but for limited hours.

Free coffee and tea etc 24 hours in buffet.

Does having Elite status  get you free coffees at Cafe al Bacio ?         Thanks!

Not from Cafe al Bacio physically, however, there is a little "hack" that's within the rules to get the same coffee for free.  Your Elite status allows you to attend the Captain’s Club daily coffeehouse-style breakfast (usually Tuscan Restaurant/Tuscan Grille) which uses the same espresso-based coffees as Cafe al Bacio and is possibly coffee from Cafe al Bacio on some ships.  It should be noted that this is only an option during the morning hours

A few?

Perhaps in number but for anyone who drinks little (or in our case zero) alcohol and doesn't want unlimited WiFi the Elite+ benefits are extremely valuable - unlimited free speciality tea/coffees/chocolate (hot and iced), 240 minutes premium WiFi per person and 2 bags (30 items per bag) of laundry per person.

Yup, and another perk is that if only one person in the party has status they can get others in (on my last two sailings, no one even asked to check our room keys during multiple visits).  In Cafe Al Bacio, when you hear someone order a coffee and ask for a second cup/cup of ice/cup of milk, it's most likely because they are going to split the coffee (lol)

I agree. Our Elite+ status allows us to book without AI which is considerably cheaper on the cruises we have booked.

We had to pass our cards over and they scanned them on our last 2 cruises ( only been elite plus for 2 cruises) Once we didn't use both cards and were charged for the second drink

You mean at Cafe Al Bacio?  That's how it should be yet they have been known to comp a second drink from time to time.  I'm specifically talking about when at the Elite coffee house breakfast

A pasdenger sharing with a passenger who is Elite has always been allowed to attend the breakfast. What they are not allowed are the free drinks in the afternoon.
