New cruiser to P & 0

[Maid Marion 2]

We have never cruised with P&O before and I was just wondering if dressing gowns are provided in the cabin or do i have to take one.  

 

We are sailing on Azura over Christmas in an ocean view cabin.

Definitely not in any other cabins. We asked on our recent Azura cruise and were told they are not provided.

On Azura, they are provided in superior deluxe balcony cabins and above, but must be left in the cabin after use. In lower grade accommodation u can buy them and then are able to keep them.

We tried to buy dressing gowns on Arvia back in April, partly cos we had lots of OBC.  Neither the spa, nor the shops were able to supply.

We had dressing gowns and slippers on Azura. They were pretty naff and not something that would even enter my thinking when picking a cruise.

We have bought gowns via our steward on Arcadia which were debited to our account.

Maybe it's not expensive enough for some

Of course but they are the thick ones and you have to find room to carry them off the ship. You’d leave the slippers behind.

Have to say, I don't wear a dressing gown at home, so wouldn't need one on board.  Once I'm up, I get dressed!

I use ship dressing gowns for when getting out of the shower until ready to get my glad rags on ...
