Labadee

Looking at various itineraries for the Caribbean I see Labadee listed as a port. Is that the same as Coco Cay?

No. Coco Cay is in the Bahamas. Labadee is a 'private destination' on Haiti. It's a nice beach day. Perfectly safe. Lots of beach day activities.

Same place?  No.  Same concept?  Pretty much---just not on steroids like CC.

I prefer Labadee when I’ve been on Royal..much more laid back to me..I would gladly stop there on a Celebrity ship.

Used to love Labadee as a nice beach day on a pretty bit of island. Haven't been there since we left RCI for X 6 years ago. Happy to see X using it occasionally. It's on our itinerary on EC Jan. 2025.

well Labadee does not have a nice pool like Coco nor does RCI serve as much variety of food either.

Still nice to watch zip lines coming down along the water.

Thanks for clearing this up for me! Labadee will be a nice change from all the same 'ol, same 'ol Caribbean ports on the majority of Celebrity's itineraries.

Looks like Royal C turned a beautiful, very natural undisturbed,  and low key beach and snorkel area into its version of a Coney Island  Amuement Park!  

 

We would now prefer Labadee!

If you can, rent or try to share one of the overwater cabana huts... They have fans,  come with coolers / water   some have ladders that go right into the water.

 

There are nice hiking traiis.. a "coaster",  bars, lunch pavilions,   zip line,  paddle boats ,, shops one or two with a/c, bthrms etc

 

Yet Retains is natural character!
