Beverage packages on sale if anyone is interested...12/22/23

I was in my reservation for other reasons and spotting a beverage package sale.  I do not know if this is a good deal as we do not book it but thought it might help someone else out.  We sail on 3/16/24.  ~E

I had booked the upgrade from Classical to Premium and also the upgrade to premium internet one device, a while ago.

 

Saw the sale, cancelled and rebooked both.

 

The total saving was about $90 CDN.  Not a huge saving, but a bit more money to have fun on the cruise.

Not much point to paying more to upgrade as almost all wines and many liquor favorites are now over the $17 limit.

Are there any "deals" to just hold out and buy a drink package when they try an upsell you on day 1?

 

Also, grats are still charged to the room. Only the drink charge is covered under these packages? Correct?

If you want to purchase the non-alcoholic package, do both pax in the cabin have to buy like you do with the Classic and Premium packages?

 Use the Celebrity app.  Find the ship you want and a current sailing.  Go into Dining, select Restaurants, and view the menu's.  For the drinks in the MDR, Blu or Luminae, select Dining, Main Dining, then the venue, and then Menu.  For the various bars, go into Dining and select "Bars & Lounges", select the bar you are interested in and then Menu.

I’ve tried that. I think the UK version of the app may be different to yours. I can no longer search current sailings - only book new ones! Thanks for the advice though. I wondered if Celebrity had published anything.
