leisuretraveler223 Posted December 26, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2023 Any suggestions? The beverage package for an upcoming trip had a price drop, so I canceled it and then went to rebook it. I click reserve and then it won't let me select our names as it still says "reserved" and under our names "limited to once per cruise". How long does it take to process and realize I no longer have it????
akcruz Posted December 26, 2023 #2 Share Posted December 26, 2023 Saw a similar post yesterday, wonder if they are slowing things down knowing people cancel and rebook a lot. Theirs eventually did clear.
danoconnl Posted December 26, 2023 #3 Share Posted December 26, 2023 I cancelled and rebought last wek. It took about 45 minutes for my previous purchase to clear the system. I also heard that you can call if it hasn't cleared and they will take care of it for you. Dan
SilkySal Posted December 26, 2023 #4 Share Posted December 26, 2023 I cancelled and rebooked the DBP immediately yesterday and even got my OBC back right away, so I could use it again.
ChrisCrafter Posted December 26, 2023 #5 Share Posted December 26, 2023 I cancelled my Deluxe Beverage package Dec 26. Credit was issued right away. It took one hour 45 minutes for the reserved label to be removed from the cancelled DBP so I could repurchase at a lower price.
George C Posted December 26, 2023 #6 Share Posted December 26, 2023 I normally call when I cancel and rebook, never had issue.
Wheels Up Posted December 26, 2023 #7 Share Posted December 26, 2023 I’m thinking about doing the same thing (cancel and rebook at lower price). When they issue the refund, is it OBC, or does it go back to your bank/credit card? If it goes back to my bank account (I used a debit card) I’m concerned it may take a week to post to my bank and the price may be higher than when I first booked by then. soremekun Posted December 26, 2023 #9 Share Posted December 26, 2023 OP, does a manual log out and log in clear this up?

Most folks doing a cancel/rebook do not wait to receive the refund to rebook for that reason. If you can't repurchase now, you have to decide if the savings are worth taking the chance of another price change
blackjackz Posted December 27, 2023 #12 Share Posted December 27, 2023 I also did the cancel and rebuy of my beverage package 5 days ago, and it took just over 1 hour before I could rebuy.
