Temperature check

Is RCL doing temperature checks before embarkation at any port but mainly Galveston or Miami. I have a child that usually has higher temperatures especially in warmer weathers.

They won't even check for a pulse....

The only port that checked my temperature was Hong Kong back in august (2023).

Even during the return to cruising in 2021 (Alaska season started back up in July 2021), there were no temperature/fever checks at Pier 91 in Seattle.  Vaccine verifications and negative Covid test results were checked, but no temperature checks.  (Gawd, that seems so long ago)

Royal never did them.  We cruised in Nov 2021 and only a neg test was required.

I couldn't remember if Royal checked but I do remember some of the islands checking temps on our 2021 / 2022 cruises.    We were on the first cruise that went to Antigua when they re-opened to cruise ships and our temps were checked getting on and off the ship by port staff.

They did them briefly with the restart cruises out of the Bahamas. Some port stops did a temp check when you got off the ship, too.
