On either this, or on any previous Royal Caribbean cruises you may have taken, what has been your experience with the additional expense for any service charges, including beverage and dining, and all gratuities?

 

Were you able to pay for these charges up front or will you be charged at the end of your cruise?  

 

Do you have any idea how much additional cost this will add to your basic cabin reservation?

For all planner or on board purchases which have one, there's a mandatory 18% grats added.

 

For the cabin, you can add the $18/day PP grats before the cruise or it will be added automatically on board - those can be removed on board.

The only required charges we had for this cruise were the daily gratuities

 

We purchased and optional a soda package, and internet (less diamond free day). 

 

Those were the total expenses beyond buying the cruise.
