If anybody from Princess is watching this CC board, my biggest message to Princess is this:

Yes, I will break protocol and put this sentence in all-cap.   

BRING BACK THE NICE SANCTUARY, AS IT IS ON MANY SHIPS REGAL AND EARLIER.

No shade...  no upscale vibe/decor/aesthetic...  no padded loungers...  etc,,,

It does not seem to be either a more upscale or a more exclusive area.  It does not seem to offer much more personal elbow-room.

(are the few located around the pool for Signature overflow/access???)

I hope that this is a big 'fail', and that they are giving this due consideration.

File this one under “Steve’s weird anecdotes”. Two guys crawled into this hatch that’s secured with 20 huge bolts. And on the other side, guys were unbolting the matching hatch.

Yes, just wanted to add info some may not have been aware. One department may not know what the other hand is doing. An enquiry to the F&B MGR would answer why the 2nd minibar setup, mistake or otherwise.

Well 2 minibar, set ups is great in my opinion. One for the suite & one  for Elite status? But wonder why it took them 3 days to get you the 2nd set up. I’m sure @CanadianBurger will let us know when they know.

I’m going to post the photos I took in the Sanctuary this morning. I’m not going to post what I was told about booking and pricing until I verify the facts. There’s way too much misinformation out there. 
 

This is the Signature Sun Deck aft of, and separated by a railing from, the Sanctuary. The aft glass elevator that takes you directly here is behind the wall.

I usually swap out all the liquor for Courvoisier and I don't see any in your delivery at all.

It’s a minisuite, not a full suite, so there should only have been one. I’m assuming at this point that it’s just an error (wrong cabin number or something like that). If it suddenly disappears, I’ll let everyone know!

It’s Remy VSOP. I believe the Courvoisier from previous cruises was VS.

Someone asked about possible balcony obstructions just aft of the sphere. Someone else replied there were no obstructed cabins on this ship. Here’s a view.

Someone asked about Nitro Cold Brew. There’s no cold brew at the coffee places, but one of the Eatery managers said the machine they use has a cold brew setting, and to ask a drink waiter to get one. No idea if that’s what you were asking, but that’s all I got.

Thanks so much for all your informational posts and pictures, a huge help to anyone considering this ship. Wondering if you could comment on how well it handles any ocean choppiness, have you found it to be similar to other cruises or more stable given the size and design? Looking at the wave forecasts against the plotted course it does look like it's sailed through some 8/9ft swells over the past day or so, curious on your thoughts.

Tonight was the Captain’s Welcome Aboard formal night. I think half the ship was packed into the piazza. Could barely get through it. 
 

Our Reserve dinner tonight went much smoother than last night. No wait; we were seated immediately. They made a special chicken parm dish for my wife, and it sounded good, so I had it too. Forgot the pic though. FYI, they bring her the next night’s menu to pre-order something taking into account her allergies. The stuffed shells tonight were amazing, and the turtle cheesecake was to die for. The warm flowerless cake was meh. Our headwaiter, Marius, has been fantastic.

I have dinner everyday (usually a light dinner) at around 9:30 and go to bed around midnight. On the weekends dinner at 10:30 is not a rare occurrence.

When I was a teen my parents sent me once to Ireland and once to England during the summer to study English while staying with a family and I got used to dinner at 5 quite easily! But I had to snack on something before going to bed 😅

OP previously wrote that overall the ship felt more stable than other Princess ships. Likely because this is the Princess ship with an azipod installed.

 

He did report some motion in the AFT, Horizons Dining Room last evening, excessive rolling side-to-side motion. Other portions of the ship did not have this same feeling around the same time, per his reports. 

 

Overall no vibration and the OP's sailing has had high winds, rough seas on previous day(s).

Check my photos in post #385. Some have padding (the ones around the pool and along the side more forward). Most don’t. 

And don’t believe everything you hear on YouTube.
