Premium Drink Package

What are the best red and white  Premium wines to order by the glass on the Celebrity Ascent?

Any information given would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Best in what way? Sweetest? driest? Most tannin? Least tannin? Fruitiest? ????

I would suggest you ask the Sommlier for recommendations.  They know what they have available and what might pair well with your meal.

You also really need to board to find out what wines they are pouring.  Often different wines in Europe.  The wines by the glass can even change mid cruise depending on availability.

My go to is Mer Soleil chardonnay. Can have a strong oak flavor.

With wine, you have the package, guess what, try them all, might not like some of them and you can get something else.  A benefit of the drink package, not like you have to finish a glass of something you do not like, just get something else.  What one persons taste in wine and food is usually very different from others.

Mer Soleil is no longer covered in the Premium package. It is $19 per glass.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. We liked red sweet and some dry red & white wine, We will ask the ship sommelier for their suggestions. 

 

The cost per glass is not a major factor.
