I'm doing a 50 day cruise, Miami to Rio, and I don't have 50 pair of underwear. Or enough shirts or Jammies or socks for 50 days. I don't think anyone brings 50 pair---😆which is why we send out the laundry daily.

Doesn't have to be sent out daily, but it is a reason to use the self service laundry

It really doesn't appear that your experience is typical of most cruisers. Daily? Really? Do you just bring 3 changes of clothes?

The free 3 bag deal will mess that up--so maybe every other day. Don't know why "O" just doesn't add laundry included (because nothing is really free).

Why wouldn't you want it done daily---The three bag thing is ridiculous in my opinion. "O"s should add a few dollars more to the fare and add laundry included.

Whether you like it or not, that's another issue. I found it fine on Riviera (our 20-night B2B in Oct-Nov 2023). Think we did laundry 4 times on this cruise. (We spent 3 nights in Venice first and ended with 3 nights in Barcelona).

It's ocean friendly, so regular detergent from home is not recommended. 1

Ocean friendly and less effective IMHO. Also, on Vista the machines have a not pleasant mildew like smell, which can happen with front loading washers unless you leave the doors open when not in use. (We used to have one at home.) Between less than stellar laundry detergent and slightly stinky washers our laundry we did on the ship lacked a fresh smell...had a slightly unpleasant odor to it. FolsomMike Posted July 6 #38 Share Posted July 6 First timer…are the three bags wash and dry or dry clean? If washed, do they only use hot water (like Celebrity) or can you specify cold?

No hangers. 20 pieces max per bag (pair of socks counts as one). 3 day turn around stated, but we have frequently gotten back as earlier. Don't know if you can specify temperature for sure, but I saw a couple posts that suggested you could. But hopefully someone who has tried to specify will respond.
