From what I have read it's not a deal. It's like the game show. One person participates and the rest just watch. The casino is a better investment.

I think this is the first time I've heard an analogy which resulted in the casino being described as a favorable investment - LOL.

I've never played.  What is the typical cost of the cards to play?

Cruise planner usually has 4 cards for $40. And if you purchase the 4 cards onboard, you get a free card as a captain’s club benefit.

Not as a challenge to your statement but I was curious after purchasing the cards what the net would be with a $60 - $100 winning, unless you meant that as net. Thanks.

There are worse ways to waste 40 bucks on a sea day.

Finally decided to try it after many Celebrity cruises. Bought the discounted cards in cruise planner. It was lame because unless your number is called, you are just watching, not participating. Chances of getting your number called are very slim…there were only two called during the event and there were a lot of people in the theater. If I recall, one person won around $300 and the other around $1,000. It was a one and done for me.
