nasus2 Posted August 25 #1 Share Posted August 25 We board sky princess next week. We have 2 free casual dining options. Do I book these in advance, when I board or just turn up ? Like to be organised
Rare cr8tiv1 Posted August 25 #2 Share Posted August 25 I do not believe you can book casual dining options before your cruise. But I highly recommend that you do make reservations for the nights/times you prefer. Most formal nights will occur on sea days.
skynight Posted August 25 #3 Share Posted August 25 I don't think you can make casual dining reservations in advance. This was my experience on the Ruby this past winter. Some casual venues, such as Alfredo's, are busy. I would visit when I first board, speak with the staff and determine your plans.

Like to be organised Just ask once onboard if you may reserve- I don’t think so or look at Patter aka newsletter for hours of casual dining operation. I believe you will just turn up for casual dining.( example: Alfredo’s,Ocean Terrace, & Vines.) Definitely no reservations on app prior to your voyage. Thrak Posted August 25 #9 Share Posted August 25 I believe the only "casual dining" venues that accept reservations - I've read they are actually required - are Planks and Steamers which are only on Caribbean Princess and Emerald Princess. Sky Princess has Alfredo's, Ocean Terrace, and Vines. None of those accept reservations.

I forgot about those! We are doing Caribbean Princess in the spring. My SIL had high praise for Steamers, so maybe we will try it.
