Well the back is really sore now . Trying to get an appointment with my doctor . I did not want to go tp the hospital . My jaw is stiff too . I hit the side of my head on the door window . Other than that and a headache probably from the shock I am fine . Thank God . Angels were watching over me today . One was B .

What a horrible experience for you....but you should get checked out...hope you get your doctor appointment fast....you only have a few days till your trip.

Ice packs are good news then old fashioned hot water bottles in the bed at night.Old then hot......it helps alot for bruises and muscle aches .....Kruisey.

Tony, I am one of your "readers" not much on posting, but I had to thank you SO MUCH for taking the time on your cruises to share your experiances. I truly have enjoyed each of your cruises and look forward to your upcoming trips. Your account of the overnight safari was just wonderful. Thank you again for taking us along.

Ditto. Thank you.

Thanks for your best wishes . I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning but was instructed that if I feel anything strange to go to emerg. I think I am on auto pilot right now and it still has not been absorbed by my mind . Your mind protects itself from trauma and shock .

My poor Jag is in emerg . lol

Kruisey nothing is going to keep me from that Hawaiian cruise in 9 days .

Trust me I don't care about the car . T this was the closest thing to death that I have ever experienced . In fact before I hit the wall I said to myself "so this is how I am going to die " .

Thank God he does not want me yet . Feel worse if I stay still for too long so I am back and forth from my bed to the chair . Not going to emerg unless I get worse .

Thanks for the advice!

We'll I won't be going on the Island Princess then anytime soon if the "Office" is closed for 5 days!

Tony

Tony, it's not the Island Princess.....it's all ships that are in Hawaii waters. Gambling is illegal in Hawaii so all ships that go in Hawaii waters must close their casino. The Island Princess can open its casino on any other itinerary.

You were one lucky lady today. You sure didn't need that accident after all the trouble you have been having with your back but you were still LUCKY!Hope you don't have any after-effects so you can enjoy your Hawaiian cruise.

It happened on the 403 West before Erin Mills in Mississauga . I know you know the area .

Yes I feel very blessed today .

Wow! 5 minutes from my house. What were you doing there in this rotten weather. Were you driving during the thunder and lightning with the heavy rain? Like I said, you were one lucky lady! Continue to feel blessed. Hope next time you pass by this area, you will be safer.

Hopefully no concussion and thank goodness you came out almost totally unscathed. It sure sounds like B sent a little help.

glad you are OK...I know the area, too, and any accident on those roads can be really dicey...and I concur...get checked out...especially if complications happen in the future that might be attributed to the accident. (we used to live in the E.M. Parkway/Folkway Drive area...east of the Parkway, just south of the 403)

Stacey I will birn them on a CD and bring them on the Golden for sure!Tony

OK. . .now I'm happy.

Oh my goodness Envy. . . .what an experience. Please make sure your doctor really does a thorough check as sometimes you don't even know that you're injured. This from personal experience. Like you said, shock covers up a lot.

Tony...try 'Blueberry Tea' it's black tea with a shot each of Amoretta and Tia Maria....really helps to clear the sinus.

Well early good morning as I woke up at 4:00am this morning....couldn't sleep no more. I am still feeling like crap and praying for a miracle to happen between today and tomorrow at 11:30am when I am in that tin can for 32 hours back home. The ship was rocking a little last night and currently. The Internet Cafe is quiet and only one other person here with me.I plan on eating breakfast, sending my laundry in and going back to bed and resting up some more. I didn't go to the "Office" last night at all...too sick! The Steak House meal last night was excellent, and I had the spinach and artichoke dip, followed by a ceasar salad and a 10 ounce Filet med-rare with a lobster tail and a side order of mushrooms, spinach and bernaise sauce.Had chocolate pecan pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert.I can't believe that this trip is over tomorrow. This cruise went by very fast for 27 days in total.More to follow later this morning from the Pacific Princess enroute to Cape Town.Tony

Figured that's why Hawaiian cruises weren't in your signature.

unless they change that rule, I really can't see myself going to Hawaii on a cruise anytime soon...unless Envy4u pays!!!!Tony

Yes, Tony, the 27 days went very fast as we sailed vicariously with you. Looking forward to your postings from the Golden in the Mediterrean. Hope you feel better for your flight home and thanks again for taking us on your cruise with you.

Even if Envy pays, still no casino for you while in Hawaii waters and no, I don't think it will change any time soon. FYI, the casino would not be closed the whole time. If you take the 15 day cruise to Hawaii, the casino would be opened as soon the ship is not in Hawaii waters/territory. You could visit your "office" to and from Hawaii on all your sea days.

Tony- we're all going to be in "cruise withdrawal" tomorrow. Thank goodness it won't be too long until "we can cruise with you" again. I hope your health improves a lot in the next few hours.

Envy4u, I hope you feel better soon. Your guardian angel was sure working overtime for you.
