You know you've been on a lot of cruises when...

...you have a ship listed on your signature that no longer sails (or exists).

...any time the word "cruise" comes up in a conversation, you feel the need to chime in, regardless of who is talking.

...you seem to spend more and more time on cruise line websites (or TA websites).

...the people you work with come to YOU for cruise suggestions.

...When a friend says they are going away to Vegas for a few days and you ask them what ship they are travelling on.

...When you start estimating the square feet of the various balconies in condominiums/apartments in your neighborhood.

...You become excited when an "aft" seat becomes available while travelling on a public bus.

...You are surprised that you are billed for everything you order when you go out to eat.

...When you find out that a family member stayed at a hotel you have stayed at before and you ask them if they had the same steward you had.

...While at a work meeting you recommend having a muster drill.

....when you post on CC and forget which upcoming cruise you're posting on.

....when you "quick reply" to someone who is not on that particular cruise, but another one of yours.

...you occasionally find yourself waking up at 6 am and rushing outside to tie lawnchairs together with towels...only to discover you are in your own backyard.

...you have an irrational fear of wearing jeans in any dining room - anywhere.

...you are the proud owner of a full set of Rumrunner flasks.

...you absolutely detest the sound of walkie-talkies.

When someone at work announces they might try a cruise, you feel the urgent need to just lecture them on advice....

When you see the same eerie, elderly, very well dressed couple that look like ghosts on every cruise you've been on....and it even comes up in the forums here (well, over on RCL)

--it seems silly to go out for an upscale meal at home.

--you buy new luggage every three years.

--when people mention they are cruising out of San Diego on a particular date, and you can tell them the name of the ship and the itinerary.

--you check priceline, hotwire and airline sites almost every day.

--you've been on the same ship three times.

--the huge online agency's executives all know you by name.

--you use the internet now to put a "hold" on your newspaper and mail.

:D Fun thread!

When you keep your luggage in the guest room instead of the basement.

When the closet in the guest room has one entire shelf full of "travel size" everything, and gets added to weekly

When you forget to pick up your dry cleaning because your next cruise is not booked

When you get excited about the new luggage tags they have at Shapiro

When Shapiro is your favorite place in the Mall, (next to the shoe store):D

WHen you buy 1 quart zip lock bag in huge bulk size from Costco

When the last cruise is not paid for yet and you are planning the next one..

When you start buying your jewelry by the inch.

When you know the Captain and the entire crew by their first name.

When you have more formals in the closet than a bridal shop.

When you use a ship's horn to announce your arrival.

When you can remember cruise ships that had no stabilizers and had no theater/show rooms, just a headliner in a cozy lounge; when they did not have casinos, when caviar and steak tartare was available every night; when cruise ships had no "extra fare" restaurants, and mostly, when a Beefeater martini was 15cents!!:)

when your boss asks you if the the ship that you are going on next has been built yet!!

It's when you have two reservations on ships that have not been built yet. They ask you about 'the new one" and you have to ask "which one".
