Almost Live from Riviera
We’re in Miami, looking off our balcony at some Regent ship docked at Terminal J. Weather is great here. Spent a couple of hours messing around the Brickell area, which we had never done before. I never worry about posting the details of my flights here and hotel stuff. We’ve been here since yesterday and are lucky to just be here due to flight delays, but it all worked out.  Probably won’t post anything else till tomorrow.

Live from NOLA and NCL Breakaway - 3/12 thru 3/19 😀⚓️🕖☘️🍸
Heya friends! I will be posting my thoughts and observations for our sailing on the Breakaway from New Orleans. My fellow sailor is the wife, to be referred as the DW for the rest of our review. We've sailed many times on NCL, this being our 16th sailing with them. Even with the service cuts and nickel and diming, we enjoy the product they offer and are always happy to book again once we get off ship!

LIVE: Celebrity Eclipse March 10th - March 15th - Sydney (Australia)
Hey all,

Tomorrow we leave on our cruise from Sydney Australia, on the Eclipse. A short 5 night cruise down to Hobart and return. Hopefully we will be able to post regularly with a focus on food on board (I'm a chef working in a 5 star resort in Byron Bay - a popular beach side town).  It is currently autumn in Australia, though the days are still warm (26C), Hobart is at the Southern end of Australia and we expect lows of 9C.

A little about us, we are both in our early 30's and from Australia. This is my 5th Celebrity Cruise ( all on S class) and my partners 1st cruise. We have booked Concierge Class (my first time in concierge, after previously staying in standard verandahs and aqua class).

TxTeach79's GLORY-OUS 3/12 Spring Break NOLA LIVE
Well well well... we meet again!

The school year is humming along, and Spring Break is nigh upon us! It seems like just yesterday I wrapped up my two MG Live threads (Thanksgiving and NYE sailings), but at the same time I can't imagine feeling like I need a cruise more than I do this one. I'm more than ready. I love my students, I really do... but let's just say I could use some R&R. Yeah, I know... it's a Spring Break sailing. I get it. But still, it won't harsh my buzz one bit. I've sailed on plenty of holiday sailings, the job kind of dictates that.

"LIVE" from MSC Seascape - March 05, 2023
Welcome to "LIVE" from MSC Seascape.   Hello everyone, and good day. The Sea is Calling. I will be flying to Miami tomorrow to sail on the beautiful MSC Seascape on March 5 (This Sunday). I really don’t like to fly, and this is the first time I’ve flown since 2019 (BWI-LHR), but I really wanted to sail on this ship. The last time I sailed with MSC was on Divina in 2016. This will be my first cruise since Sep 2022 (Oasis of the Seas) MSC Seascape launched in Dec 2022 and has been sailing from Miami on alternating Eastern-Western Caribbean cruises. She has been sailing near capacity since then.   I am really hoping for some warm weather in Miami as I will be staying there for 2 nights (Pre-Cruise) near Port Miami. After the cruise, I will be staying an additional 2 nights before coming home. MSC Seascape will be sailing a very nice 7-night itinerary. We are scheduled for port calls at Ocean Cay, BHS - Port Nassau, BHS - Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, and San Juan, PR.

Solstice Mexican Riviera March 4th-11th...Finally...let the saga...ahem, I mean live review begin!
Greetings CC friends!
I am excited to bring you this live and unfolding saga of our cruise on the Solstice beginning March 4th-11th.  I’ve followed a few live reviews over the last several weeks in anticipation of:
1. getting back on a Celebrity ship in general, and
2. sailing on Solstice in particular.
Shout out to all those who have taken time to provide live reviews. I've hung on every word and traveled along vicariously.  Here’s hoping I can return the favor!

3-8.23 Live From the Divina
This cruise is off to a poor start.  The wait to get into the terminal was terrible.  There were probably 1K or more lined up outside.  It was about 1:30 when they started boarding, and they were very slow in processing people, so you were waiting in the gang way for quite a while.  We were an hour late sailing away, and the sail away party was over for at least 30 minutes before we sailed

Sort Live from the Infinity around the horn and back
Infinity trip day  -2 Intro

Here I go again.  In April of 2022, we were supposed to go from Tokyo to Vancouver on the Solstice.  They, of course, cancelled the entire season, so my friends (Sam & Kathleen, henceforth known as S&K) decided that 12 day cruises on the Infinity b2b were in order. Glen (DH) has never been on an M class ship, so we decided to with them.  After almost a year of planning, it’s time.

Live from the Gem - March 10-21, 2023 NY to Bermuda to Caribbean to NY
We are just a few days away from an 11 night cruise on the Gem leaving from and returning to NYC. It will be our first time on the Gem but we’ve been on the sister ships of the Jewel x 4, Jade, and Pearl. We booked this in mid-January when prices were very reasonable for a mini-suite.  We really wanted a suite but the prices for the few remaining suites were too high even a week ago or so as prices never really dropped.

Live from Sky Princess! - March 4-11 & 11-18 B2B - East & West Caribbean
Hello! I've never done one of these before, so please be patient with me as I figure this out. I have enjoyed getting ready for this cruise by reading other lives over the last few months, so I thought it would be fun to make my own! And hopefully help out some people along the way, while being a great way to keep track of my memories.

It’s live time! More like, preparation and angst-ridden waiting time, time! We’re also in the middle of two slight snowstorms. The one we had earlier this week is over and the snow almost melted. Supposedly we’re going to have another storm starting today or tomorrow. I’m a little foggy on the timeline as I’m more of a look out the window and see what’s it’s doing kind of guy. This bothers my friend that works at The Weather Channel, so he pesters me with storm maps all the time. It’s kind of like having my own favorite (annoying) weatherman that is generally wrong. That’s why I prefer the look out the window method. It’s never been wrong!

Live from Ponant Le Laperouse, Intriguing Indonesia! March 7-16 2023
Well, I'm a little early but we've been waiting since November 2020 to take this trip, so I beg your forgiveness. I can't keep my excitement to myself any longer!

Actually, it's been an even longer wait than from November 2020! We first signed up for this trip on October 15, 2019. As Covid started, we figured that our cruise in November 2020 would be fine...until it wasn't. The trip was finally canceled, and we kept our deposit with Ponant; luckily we had not bought airfare yet so no loss there. Eventually we transferred the deposit to a Corsica trip in September 2021 which we really enjoyed.

Live from The Beyond, March 5th to 12th
Throughout this week, I'll give the occasional update on our struggles to pack and all the work that we do to make cruising possible for us. We'll be staying in Fort Lauderdale the night before, so I'm sure there will be some shenanigans to post about too.

Live from Vantage Ocean Odyssey
Now on the Ocean Odyssey sailing from Bali to Singapore. Hubby and I are in cabin category BS, Royal Verandah. Embarkation went smoothly, greeted with cold drinks and snacks. Bags were already in cabins. Getting the Wi-Fi password was like pulling teeth, kept getting excuses. Turned out each cabin had to register themselves online. Ship collected passports and covid cards when we arrived and will return them when we disembark. Food has been excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. We did our first zodiac tender today.

Live From the Royal Princess March 2, 2023 Mexican Riviera Cruise
Good morning all from Prescott Valley Arizona. Well I'm back. After a tad over three year hiatus Holli & I will be embarking on the Royal this Thursday for a r/t Mexican Riviera cruise out of San Francisco.  I decided to start this thread a few days early out of excitement and so I could start compiling a list of questions anyone would care to post. For our pre cruise plans, we are staying Wednesday night at the Hotel Riu in San Fransisco.

Live from the Crown Princess–r/t LA-Hawai’i–March 2-17, 2023
Introduction
Tomorrow will be our last day before boarding the Crown Princess for Hawai’i so it is time to start a live. This will be my 3rd live & I have discovered that it is a great way to record & remember so I will be sharing the things I enjoy & want to remember. As a warning, I really like food pictures so there will probably be a lot of those. There will also be Stanley Bears! And photos of waves & flowers & random, somewhat rambling thoughts. Hopefully in the midst of all that there will also be things that are useful &/or enjoyable for the rest of you.

LIVE Summit Aqua Class Review 3/2 - 3/6
Starting this earlier than normal as I fly out on the 28th - I don't have a direct flight from Canada to Miami and due to the time of year I decided I rather have a longer holiday than stress about getting to Miami (also first time there). Plus quite honestly I need it, I've worked hard and not had a real break since my cruise in August, just weekends or a day here or there.

**Semi live** Oasis of the Seas February 26-March 5 2023
Planning on posting a semi-live review of the Oasis of the Seas.  We will be sailing from Miami to the Western Caribbean Feb 26-March 5 2023 with ports of call in Coco Cay, Cozumel, Roatan, and Costa Maya.  For what it’s worth, this will be our 32nd cruise, 9th since the Restart, 8th time on Oasis (3rd since they added the *bleep* purple slide). We’ve never stayed in a suite, never bought the key, never dined in specialty dining (unless it was comped)…we are in the pay less and go more often camp. We enjoy cruising for it’s simple ease.

Live From the Royal 2/25 with B2B through 3/12
Hi all…. Heading out to the pier from the San Francisco Bay Area in about an hour or so.  I understand our cruise(s) is at full capacity.  It was requested that I start this thread to answer any questions people have about the new packages, use of obc, new pricing, new menus, the elite bar swap outs, etc since 2/20.
Topics I will try to cover, if I get cooperation from the WiFi and this site, will focus on these new policy changes.  However, if there are any other questions you may have about the Royal Princess in particular, please feel free to ask.  I will answer them if I am able.

Prima/LIVE/Feb 26 to March 5, 2023/non-Sistahs Cruise
Background: This was supposed to be the Sistahs Cruise Part Deux. Sistah and I cruised on the (then) new Norwegian Bliss at the end of February 2020. Back in the old days, before Covid. Actually, JUST before Covid -- the cruise after ours was the last one before the shut-down. Serendipity? Sistah not have much cruise experience, so she was especially excited for that cruise since we booked the Haven. She was bowled over by the experience. We had such a fun time and, living so far apart (she in NYS up by Canada, me in NJ [then] and NC [now]) we just don’t get to spend that much time together. It was a great cruise with a number of Sistah shenanigans.

"Live" Sapphire Princess, 32 Days, Buenos Aires to LA, 3/5/23 to 4/6/23
Hi Folks, here we go again!

On Monday morning we will fly from LAX to Buenos Aires (BA) by way of Dallas on American Airlines (AA).  After many price comparisons, EZ Air was by far the most economical.  We were originally booked in Economy from LAX to Dallas (only option available on EZ Air) and Business Class from Dallas to BA.  After the flights were ticketed we were able to upgrade our first flight to First Class directly through AA.

In January of 2011, we spent 10 days in BA prior to sailing on a 17-day cruise on the Star Princess, BA to Valparaiso (Chile).  On that voyage we cruised in Antarctica for four days.  Those four days are still a highlight of our travels and was my "retirement" trip.
