LIVE - Reflection Feb. 25
I am sitting on an airplane cruising at 30 something thousand feet.  Next stop Miami, Florida.  I am trying to decide whether or not I can commit to a live cruise review.  I will do my best but I can’t guarantee regular commentary because you know, I will be on a cruise. Life gets busy on a ship.

Live from the Meraviglia 2/18
This is our first time sailing MSC. We are frequent NCL Haveners. Yacht Club checkin was a breeze - 15 minutes from the parking lot to the cabin. We are staying in the Royal Suite and it is lovely. We usually stay in the Haven 2 bedroom. Tonight we are having dinner at Butcher’s Cut.

So, to manage expectations, this will not be anywhere near the quality of the epic that @Selbourneis treating us to nor will there be photos etc. Only getting the Wi-Fi on sea days so other days will depend on my mobile package.  I also hate using the iPad keyboard so apologies for any accidental autocorrections that creep in.

Saturday 24th Feb - Gatwick to Barbados

On the Tui flight and upgraded to PE as this trip is for Mrs DCHs birthday.

NCL Breakaway March 3-10 from New Orleans semi-live
I’ve followed a few of these types of posts in the past and always appreciate the people who take the time to do them. So I figured I’d give it a try this time in the hope that it maybe helps out or entertains even one person. Plus I enjoy long-winded and rambling story telling and I’m ready to get into cruise mode ASAP so this seems like it could be fun for me.

LMM LIVE from Allure of the Seas ~ Rachel's Bachelorette 2/23-2/25
Ahoy! I'm Victoria, a.k.a. LittleMissMagic, a.k.a. LMM. I've contributed quite a few photo reviews to Cruise Critic over the years, but this will be my first ever attempt at a Live review - wish me luck!

Funny story about how this cruise came to be. Back in July 2022, I was in Austin, visiting my sister Rachel (a.k.a. @RachLovesSteak) when somehow it came up in conversation that the best time is to book a cruise price-wise is as soon as the itineraries are released.... which led to us looking at February 2024 cruises and booking a Royal Loft Suite on a 3-night cruise on Allure of the Seas for Rachel's Bachelorette.

*LIVE* from the Freedom of the Seas – Weekend Getaway
Join the Bird live on a fast-paced weekend getaway on the Freedom of the Seas. When the Freedom OTS first set sail in May 2006, she was the large cruise ship in the world. In March 2020 just before the pandemic shutdown, Royal Caribbean spent $116M to amp the Freedom, updating her amenities and features to the latest in the fleet.

LIVE * Discovery * 4-day West Coast Getaway
Welcome to a LIVE review of our 4-day winter getaway cruise on the Discovery out of LA. I work in education and our schools are closed for President’s Day, so this cruise fit into my work schedule perfectly - not to mention the fact that I am finally retiring this year in June 🥳 🥳, so this is a retirement celebration cruise for me!  This cruise I am sailing with a long-time college friend )I call her "E") from the East Coast. We raised some H#ll in the past and have not gotten to see each other for many years, so this should be a fun reunion/retirement trip! 🥂

Live From Valiant Lady 2/10-2/17
We are excited to be here on our very first Virgin cruise!  A little about us, we are DINKs hanging on to our 30s by the skin of our teeth, and have cruised most of the major US cruise lines.  Our favorite is still Princess but we have enjoyed Celebrity, Royal and Disney quite bit.  So this is going to be an interesting experience for us!

Late but Live from Adventure of the Seas. Feb 10-16
Good morning from the Adventure of the Seas as we currently sit at port in Nassau on a 6-night cruise vacation.  I debated whether to do a live from thread as writing is definitely not one of my hidden talents but figured I would force myself to expand my horizons as they say.    We are currently on leg one of a B2B trip that has to be one of the best deals we’ve gotten since we first cruised with Royal in 1997 on Sovereign of the Seas; a cruise we won on a scratch off lottery ticket.  Sadly, we didn’t get back to cruising until around 2007 when we decided it was cheaper to take our family of four on a cruise than go to Disney another time.

Radiance 4 day 02/05/24 through 02/09/24 Live-ish because why not?
Hello, it's been sometime since my last cruise which was the Breakaway back in December of 2022 and now I'm doing two short cruises! The first is the 4 day on Carnival Radiance and then I disembark on 02/09 and head right over to the Royal Navigator of the Seas for a 3 day. Since I live in Las Vegas these are the closest ports to me. The usually cheap airfare tends to balance out the additional cruise fare these tend to run for some reason. Although with the Superb Owl in Vegas, a flight back on 02/09 was almost as much as another cruise. Serendipity prevailed and seeing the Navigator started the same time this ended, well, I had to book it.

So as advertised we will be live for these two cruises. This is a side to different state side? Maybe? That didn’t feel like it made sense. Let me explain our odd travel plans.

We have many things to celebrate this first week:

Live from Crown Princess, February 7 - 17, Mexican Riviera
Well, since there are already 2 lives from the Mexican Riviera I feel like I might as well add a third!

Since I really enjoyed doing a semi live from on our canal transit cruise last year, I’ve decided to do it again on our upcoming 10 day Mexican Riviera Cruise. I will follow the same format I did on the last one of semi live updates, including patters, menus and food pictures. And then will finish up with some photos from my big camera and overall impressions.  Also, please feel free to ask questions and I’ll try and answer as best I can.

LIVE from Discovery Princess Mexican Riviera from LA 2/3-2/10 2024
Happy Groundhog Day everyone and welcome to the LIVE aboard the Discovery Princess Mexican Riviera cruise, round trip out of Los Angeles February 3-10, 2024!  This first post comes to you right before we head out for our drive to Southern California.

This is Princess cruise 21 for us, first on Discovery and first cruise since we did the full transit Panama Canal cruise on Emerald in January 2023.   We had two other Princess cruises scheduled for 2023 but, you know, life happens.  I did a live thread on the Emerald cruise and looking back it’s lots of pics of the ship, food and drinks!  So if that interests you follow along! We’ve sailed this route twice before but have not done it since 2007 on the dearly departed Golden Princess.

Live from the Grandeur by a Newbie to RSSC
The final zip on the last suitcase has been secured and all bags loaded into the car.  My wife and I will be boarding the Grandeur tomorrow for her next leg to the Southern Caribbean.  We fully anticipate being spoiled on the first two days as we make our way to the first shopping port,  Aruba.

As this will be our rookie sailing with Regent I will be sharing our thoughts and photos along the way.

It’s been almost 8 months since I’ve been on a Carnival Cruise ship. Apart from the COVID shutdown, that’s the longest I’ve gone between Carnival cruises since the year between my first and second cruises.

For those who haven’t followed it, I have been on a NCL ship and a Princess ship in the past six months.
I am finding that NCL is consistently the best value for me and Princess is frequently a better value than Carnival. Four of the last five cruises I’ve booked have not been with Carnival.

JamieLogical's Live from the MSC Divina 2/11
For this cruise, I will be sailing with my husband on the Divina out of Miami. It will be our first time on the Divina or any MSC ship besides the Meraviglia, for that matter. We are flying down in the EARLY morning on Saturday, the 10th. I am hopeful that our hotel will let us drop our bags off and store them there in the morning, since check-in isn't until the afternoon. We'd like to have the freedom to explore Miami a bit. Despite having sailed out of Miami many times, we usually fly in late the night before our cruise, head straight to the hotel to crash, and then head straight to the cruise terminal the next morning.

Hopefully live from Harmony! 2/4 - 2/11
Hey, y'all! I don't normally do lives because, frankly, I am terribly selfish and just want to enjoy my cruise. But this time, I'm sailing without my husband and with a big group of my extended family that are all guaranteed to be in bed before me. So, I'm going to try to spend my wee hours cuddled up in the inside cabin I'll have all to myself sharing my thoughts on this cruise and answering as many of your questions as I can. I'm all packed and just have one more sleep before my mom pops by to pick me up on our way down to Galveston.

Live and Solo: B2B on Oasis Feb 4 - 18, a Running report
Quick background on the cruise: made some new friends on the Allure last year who talked up cruising around Super Bowl.  They make it sounds pretty cool, and they had the Feb 11 Oasis cruise already booked. That Allure cruise was seven days and felt like I really didn't get to experience the ship, so ended up booking two weeks - this is not my first B2B, but first time was able to get the same cabin for both legs. Unfortunately, my friends ended up having to cancel but I'm sure I'll still have a great time.

Live from Regal 2/4/24
After enjoying so many Live reports, I thought I’d try my hand.  This is our 10th Princess cruise so we’re somewhat seasoned cruisers. First cruise from Galveston though so there was a learning curve

Did another thing we’ve never done-fly in the day of embarkation.

ALSO Live on the Discovery 2/3-2/10/24 Mexican Riviera
I know @sonomaphilwill probably do a much better job than I will; but I’d like to offer a different perspective.
This will be my first Solo cruise as well as my first Platinum cruise.
Definitely not the first Mexican Riviera run…this will be number 9 (live in Central Valley of California, so..we ain’t got much choice here, haha)
Originally this was a casino “free” interior cruise; but I bid on a Obstructed Balcony upgrade for $100p/p…but Princess countered with $130p/p for a Deluxe Obstructed Balcony…so I bit..I knew I had a 1/6 chance of getting a “bad” one (aka: in the VERRRY front of the ship)..well…I got a “bad” one..it is what it is..dunno if I get seasick as we’re always midship.

Constellation live: 2/10/24 - 2/22/24 12 Night New Orleans & The Caribbean (aka Mardi Gras Cruise)
Anyway about me, I'm Jeannette I'm from the UK but I live in Canada. I live pretty much on the US border with Detroit so I sometimes fly from there depending on where I am going and what's a better deal for flights. I'm 42, married with no kids but 4 dogs so depending on how you look at it I have either 4 or 5 kids 😉
I travel solo as we don't have anyone to look after the dogs - four dogs would cost a fortune to board as my husband likes staying home it works out. I
