Hope you're more successful with the trams than we were, after queuing for about 30 minutes the disabled hoist on the tram was out of action, so we had to walk. However the stroll, initially through the shopping mall, and then along the riverbank promenade and boardwalk was very easy and very pleasant.
We did a scenic tour of the area by bus, one of those with a hoist at the rear and space for some wheelchairs, it had a few photo stops where I got off but Mrs TJ stayed on the bus, and it took in the levees and the pumping stations that prevent the Mississippi from flooding the low lying areas. We thought it was well worth doing.
