  1. Yes indeed, but you have to realise an error has been made, and I guess many of us don't check after posting to make sure there are no mistakes.😯
  2. Are you referring to my post? This was a comment specifically about me, and in no way critical of you, perhaps I should not have quoted your post, if my post caused you offence then I humbly apologise.
  3. I think that was Princess, but they are both out of the same stable, so probably what Carnival are praying for.
  4. Why no Peninsular discount? Surely you would get it if you bought onboard, always assuming you had spent all your OBC?
  5. Assuming that cruise was a Caribbean one from the USA, then that does not surprise me. US lines have few sea days, and US passengers don't seem to be such avid sun worshippers as most Brits, and of course RCI have far more on board attractions that reduce the numbers seeking sun beds.
  6. ICF, I wonder if the reason you constantly bombard us with the benefits of inside cabins might in fact be more to convince yourself that you don't really miss the benefits of daylight or your own personal balcony?😉
  7. I assume you have advised your parents to cancel and rebook if the saving is so high?
  8. If you have a tablet, or even a smart phone, and a library card, you can borrow ebooks to download to it using the Libby app, and all for free.
  9. I presume those prices are all for inside cabins though Phil, there's no way we could consider anything less than a balcony.
  10. For warm weather cruising I agree, but if Britannia had a promenade deck then it would make a big difference, because she does have a far better main pool area.
  11. IMHO the very best anti bacterial is a well tuned immune system, but to achieve this level it is important to ensure that your immune system is well programmed. Antibac gels do serve a useful purpose in hospitals and health surgeries, to help health workers from spreading germs from one patient to another, or for someone with a compromised immune system, but for the rest of us incidentally picking up a small amount of a germ or three during normal day to day life, can IMO be beneficial to keep your immune system in pristine working order.
  12. Now that's great idea, but why not go the whole hog, and just have one, big, high street branch handling all the banks' business's. In this age of computers and high speed internet it should be easy to have one terminal feeding data to each bank's system, just as long as you dont use P&O's IT dept ro write the programme.
  13. We were drinking Costa coffees in the Glass house on Ventura back in 2018.
  14. In over 20 years of cruising we have only had 2 gastro incidents, but both were caused by non ship food. I was quarantined in Alaska after a dodgy moose dinner, and my wife after eating a burrito in a Guatamalan cafe. It must be either luck or we both have top notch immune systems.
  15. Fortunately my geriatric laptop is not up to windoes11 standard, so I can keep using windows 10 until one of them dies.
  16. Looking at the cabin diagram on cruiseshipplanner for these cabins on Princess, both options seem to have the walk in wardrobe, so you should be able to place the cot there and have the Queen bed setup.
  17. Our P&O mole keeps telling us that P&O might also adopt medallion, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
  18. If you do a google search for cabin E421 on Azura or grand class ships you should find some useful info. I think I am correct in saying that the bed will be sideways onto the window, and you do have a view between 2 lifeboats according to cruisedeckplans.
  19. The OP was told his new cabin had pull down beds, which to me says they are drop down ones from the ceiling, and if the cabin configuration has the beds on the dividing wall, as I suspect, then that makes sense.
  20. That photo does not look like the E deck cabins I remember, their beds were against the cabin divider wall, like the balcony cabins.
  21. Does not surprise me, I have never used the MS browser, I always found Chrome and Firefox much more reliable and far faster.
  22. What of the couple had booked direct with P&O???
