  1. Welcome to CC. Do a search outside of RCI with vendors which provide the same excursion.
  2. Go to the venue upon embarkation and book there. No issue with age for a 12 year old.
  3. While cabins may become available, you may not like the pricing. Look at a site like cruiseplum to see the pricing and availability trend (it usually has one year's worth of data).
  4. The app set to the current sailing should answer that.
  5. Yes, but very questionable if it's worth the hassle.
  6. Assuming you have MTD, that's typically the earliest time available.
  7. The 7/29 Voyager sailing still seems like the only bargain.
  8. Welcome to CC. Look for seasick bags tied to the stairwell handrails - that's when you know things are rough enough.
  9. The small bar there (facing aft) also has the machine to make such coffees. Any modification from a "regular" coffee will likely lead to use of D voucher instead. The free drink may be offered on sailings 12 days and longer.
  10. Yes, the Solaruim Cafe has the komelweck sandwiches.
  11. As mentioned, set the app to the current sailing, not yours.
  12. Linking is not just for MDR dining, it could for other things as well. But the TA is right - if you want to sit with the other couple for dinner in the MDR they need to change to fixed dining. Try that first day on board, You could also try to ask for a table for 4 at rcldining@rccl.com about two weeks out and make this request.
  13. This and many other questions have answers in the app set to the current sailing.
  14. About 7PM on the starboard side, but fairly far away - a bit better view from the VCL than Schooner.
  15. If you want to avoid the line and expense of the ship provided shuttle ($16) and for some reason you can’t get the Tromso app to work, there’s a ticket kiosk at the University stop directly up the hill from the ship ($2 for 2 hours). The 20 bus from there takes you to town and you can take the 42 bus back to the ship.
  16. Not all Android phones can hot spot a WiFi signal either.
  17. Hasn't been updated in the last two weeks - it usually updates on Thursdays. creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Loyal_To_You/13032574_Travel_Agent_Friends_Family_Rates.pdf
  18. Unlikely. Close and reopen the app. Try other sailings.
  19. We started at about 70% state of charge and was down to two bars (three bars seemed to be 25%) at the turn around point (about three km past the scenic bridge and recommended turn around point). We turned the car in with three bars. Early in the day bookings and the two-hour tours are likely to have fuller battery charge.
  20. The place doesn't seem too concerned with the timing of the return of the car. The more important part is conserving the battery charge. We booked the "one hour" Panorama tour but went way past the return point indicated by the GPS (we returned the car after about 1hr 20 min) - the only thing limiting us was the battery going down to less than 1/4 state of charge left. However, both of the tours are uphill so as long as you have some charge left at the end point, you get some recharge on the way back down hill and should not run out of juice.
  21. The numbers the LA mentioned yesterday were: 2127 total (a few may have left yesterday, like the person in an ambulance) Gold 350 Platinum 182 Emerald 86 D, D+, P the same She mentioned that she realized the Top Tier slide with the numbers was wrong as soon as she put it up and was mortified by the mistake.
