Somebody tried to scam me yesterday. I ordered something from Amazon , and received a text message supposedly from the post office, telling me that there was a package with an incomplete address, that I needed to fix. The hook was that i needed to pay a fee to fix this, give them a CC number. I decided I would let Amazon fix this if it is a problem. The package was just delivered. I don't actually know if Amazon ever uses the USPS, but I think FedEx does.

On our last B2B , we came down the aft elevators to go forward to the theater for the B2B cruisers. Guy in front on the elevator informed us where the back of the line. So we just went up to 6, down the stairs and on to the theater. He probably wouldn't have believed me anyway, On Oasis class, we now use Central Park to get to the other end of the ship. -

When we have a hurricane bearing down on us, everybody panics, and go off yo get gas and go to Publix to get water. The news media runs out to Publix, and publishes a picture of the shelves where water would be, and says the shelves are empty, implying there is no water left. What they don't show, pallets near the entrance stacked with water. Plenty of water, just not on shelves. On the subject of gasoline, a number of years ago, while was living in Ct, there was a hurricane strike this area, with wide spread power outages. Gas stations had gas, but it was in the ground, and no power to pump it. As a result, they were ordered to install emergency generators. I have no idea how they process payments.

Earlier this year, some fellow was afraid somebody would steal his chairs, so he threaded a cable, like the one you would use to secure a bicycle, through several chairs and around the railing. There was a picture here on CC. I understand security saw it, and cut the cable, freeing the chairs.

Harmony docked in Port Everglade this morning
mo&fran replied to mo&fran's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I have never seen the barges being used in Port Everglades. I have seen them in St Martin, and they were there for most of the port call, certainly more than 4 hours. I do see tanker trucks connected in PEV, but I wonder if they are loading fuel. or unloading waste that cannot be discharged ay sea. -

Scooter on Anthem of the Seas

I believe the company that has rentals for a cruise ship can provide scooters that will fit inside a standard cabin. It can be a problem with where to put it while inside and still be able to move around. -

Thanks for the pier pictures. Looking at PTZTV , you don't think a lot is happening. Things are a lot different from my pictures from a year ago. I saw a least two cargo ships docked there that brought all of the containers and other supplies. -

I'm sitting at 90 again. Our weather guys say we have broken the record for consecutive 90 degree or higher days in a row. Humidity at 74%.
