  1. I think OP wants to wake up and go outside and see the sun rise. I think that the displays near the elevators will show the sunrise time for the next day.
  2. The head water should have seen this and addressed it.
  3. Anybody that asks. We go through the closed door, and if asked, just show the card.
  4. I think Oasis is too big for Bermuda anyway. They had enough trouble with Quantum. If it could go, there would have been summer cruises there.
  5. @h20skibum we are so sorry to hear about issues with your daughter. WE are with you in spirit, and will keep you in our thoughts.
  6. I would imagine guest services or medical can provide a pair.
  7. What is unusual is that Royal doesn't normally have a ship in Tampa for the summer. But, we have family in that area , and it has been growing a lot in the last few years, and especially now with a big migration into a lot of Florida. Tampa is on the west coast of the state, while we are on the east coast, less than an hour north of Ft Lauderdale.
  8. I'm surprised the concierge did not commandeer one of the elevators from 17 down with their magic card that gives them complete control of the elevator.
  9. That has been our experience too. Crossings that stop at the Canary Islands take a more southerly route, as opposed to the Azores. Much more comfortable. Recently, we have seen the big ships do a straight shot across with no stops. Haven't done one, so cannot comment on them. We are talking the later crossings , mostly in November, which come to the southern ports. There are also the crossings around Labor day for the New England season, did one and had no issues there.
  10. If you tap on the top middle button, you should see a screen with the itinerary, and at the bottom is a place to change sailing date.
  11. But they had to open them to all passengers, not just the ones with gold cards. They gold cards were not getting them when they were much cheaper.
  12. I saw that also. But the price is significantly more than pre shutdown, and the Coco Cay prices seem very high also. Before the only way to get one without a gold card to to ask the concierge onboard, which is when they would know if there were any left, which we had pretty good success with doing. Now it looks like they are first come, gold card not required.
  13. On our last cruise it was a big draw about 5 in the afternoon. Most of the tables outside the Pub were jammed with pizza eaters. Especially teens.
  14. That' too bad. He always remembered us when we showed up. I believe his daughter was in Medical school. Some of those guys ended up working on the ship.
  15. Since they loaded our free drinks on our sea pass card, we rarely go to the lounge for happy hour. We will become Pinns in January, it has been some time coming, and I look forward to the boarding in the Pinn line, and the free internet. We will see if there are any other benefits that we would use.
  16. I don't think they are frayed, I think those are the light lines they initially throw to the dock, so the dock workers can drag the big mooring lines out.
  17. Maybe she had a string of bad ones that day. Most of the Pinns I have met are pretty low key individuals. But I have seen some that look like they think they are pretty special. Like walking around the pool deck during the day with the pin attached to their tshirt for all to see. I don't want to be that person.
  18. WE had cans on one of our early cruises this year, but then the bottles came back, and never saw cans again.
  19. 11.90 in US is 8.29 , so, 1 lb is like 3.77/lb. Keep in mind that it is winter in Australia, so comparing our summer prices to their winter prices can be misleading.
