  1. They do this all the time. It's a backup plan for last minute cancellations. I once won a RU for a cabin that wasn't available only a week prior to the cruise due to a last minute cancellation.
  2. I noticed that for a cruise at the end of the month. It was nearly sold out, then all of a sudden a couple dozen balcony cabins were available.
  3. We got one last year. I was surprised at the quality for the price. I was expecting something thinner.
  4. You can do this on RC's website via a mock booking. Granted that doesn't necessarily show you all available cabins, but it gives you the general idea.
  5. Only Oasis/Quantum ships have entertainment to pre-book
  6. Noon arrival is really, really cutting it close. Especially in the current flight landscape where delays are more common.
  7. Used to be 2 per stateroom. They just changed it to be per adult.
  8. The menu is not the same. It's more limited. No breakfast wrap, breakfast bowl or burrito on the suite breakfast menu.
  9. We are. But too many assumptions are made without context by people skimming these threads.
  10. I believe you have to call to get the drink package in this scenario. Online takes your current age, not age during the cruise
  11. Radiance class has a bar in the lounge, which is wonderful. Pre-restart they'd bring a mobile bar into the lounge for other ships, but since then we've been stuck waiting for someone to go next door to get drinks.
  12. Sure, but you'd need an internet package to do that on ship.
  13. This is something I wish they'd add to the app. If they can show ship's location on TV, then it shouldn't be hard to make it available in the app.
  14. N/A drinks are only available during the happy hour, too. The exception being the coffee machine and an urn of water/iced tea midday.
  15. I thought the app didn't work well for that cruise since it has two embarkation points.
  16. Flights and sporting events once were formal affairs, too.
  17. GPS is just a device that pulls in the signals the satellites send out and figures out your coordinates. The maps are what could be an issue since that's pulled from the internet. But the various map programs let you download maps ahead of time.
  18. There are just as many activities on port days than sea days, other than like you said the casinos.
  19. Amazing that someone takes time on their vacation to keep a diary of the "inappropriate" clothing seen during dinner.
  20. Man they reduce service down to once a day and now they're having "make a bed" contests to compensate?
  21. Honestly I don't. There are dozens of ways to set reminders for anything and everything.
  22. If you're only an occasional drinker of anything, then a package likely isn't a good idea for you.
