    I've only been to Barefoot Beach, and there's no seaweed there.

    Silversea is a niche luxury line with tiny (in comparison to the typical RC ship) ships, not one that could replace Vision/Radiance class ships.

    I still wonder if RC, instead of building small, won't just buy a struggling cruise line that sunk a bunch of money into new (but smaller) ships in the last 10 years.

    Cruiseplum lets you search that granular, but the rates published there can be stale. It still gives you an idea on what to then go search on RC.com

    We always book the early seating since it meshes best with the rest of the evening, even though we don't eat at that early at home. Plus it's a cruise ship, your stomach tends to lose track of time anyway. I'd just stick with a fixed seating to better ensure your table of 10 can be accommodated.

    "Numerous social media reports have shared that Royal Caribbean has tested banning smoking at table games on select sailings of Freedom of the Seas." OK I need something a bit more concrete than that. Social media reports tend to have about a 50% accuracy rate.

    The 7 day Panama Canal cruises are still pretty reasonable. Which I guess makes sense since it's a niche market and homeport city with limited options for flights.

    I didn't sense any decline with the new menus. But certainly RC wants you in and out faster so you can enjoy activities on board where no one cares about what you wear.

    Not yet. The shutdown kept her from getting amped.

    Passport/birth certificate and a credit card. Then a picture/ability to take a picture if you want to take care of that prior to getting to the pier.

    We started cruising on Explorer. My son turned 3 on the cruise. Now he's D+ on his own points at age 11.

    I didn't notice any when I was on her in March, but I was near the front (not the bad part of the front fortunately).

    Just not in the front of the dining room. Way too much foot traffic.
