  1. You're right. Their laws, their rules. But could you imagine the uproar if US customs boarded the ship for any stop in the USA and searched everyone's cabins?
  2. Bermuda searches cabins while the ship is in port? And wow if that much marijuana has a street value of $1500 in Bermuda.
  3. err, "good" games not google games.
  4. You just swipe your seapass card. Games are $1.50-$3.50 or so. Though the arcades tend to be pretty poorly maintained, so don't be surprised if the google games are all broken.
  5. In San Pedro last year, they had people outside the terminal quasi-enforcing check-in times. We were behind one group scrambling to find their passes to show to the agent. So we politely asked the woman if we could go past them since she clearly wasn't prepared. The lady got quite mad that we dare suggest such a thing.
  6. The brief period of Nassau home porting allowed 18+ to drink
  7. ESPN Caribbean syndicates sports from other networks. That's how they can show March Madness on board. But as we enter the time of year when the only American sport still in season is baseball, I guess there's a chance CFL might be on.
  8. I forget which cruise now, but somewhat recently... This guy in Chops just couldn't get his bacon the way he wanted it. Complained every day. And the way he wanted it just isn't possible with the way they bake the bacon instead of frying it up like most of us do.
  9. I asked for a cup of ice once and they were big ice cubes, not small ones. I can't believe how RC is ruining the cruise experience.
  10. I would only get an owner's suite if you like to eat meals in the room. Other than that, just a bigger room, especially for two people.
  11. This surely was some incorrect information given from guest services. If C&A was going to change anything, they would change the perk to keep your parents' status after age 18.
  12. I wish Adventure had a Playmakers, but other than that, great ship that I wouldn't hesitate to book.
  13. They'd basically be discouraging bookings by changing the system to not count for minors.
  14. In the past maybe, but Alaskan cruises are as casual as anywhere else out of North America these days.
  15. It's 140 for my next cruise. And that's only a 10% "discount" from the rack rate.
  16. If you didn't get any value out of it the first time, can I ask why you're looking to book again?
  17. With that in mind, the Early/Late tabs for MDR seem to be there just to confuse people since the menus are identical for either seating.
  18. Anyone D and above who gets a suite who CAN make the drink package worth it probably needs to go talk to someone.
  19. The vanity/desk in the 2nd BR has the typical outlets that an older ship vanity has.
  20. RC would never publish this info, but I'd love to know how many people who get the drink package actually max it out. I would guess the majority do not.
  21. Always set your own reminders so you don't have to rely on someone else
